They can keep flipping nonstop and its almost impossible to hit.
Yeah they can be annoying. You’re often better off with a laser or railgun.
Also in that clip, your positioning wasn’t great - for the first part you didn’t have the high ground and the Banshee went behind the rock. And by the time you got up there, they’d moved away a bit. Then when they came back they’d spotted you and evaded you, then killed you. So if you’d done it differently and maybe jumped up on the rock first, they might not have been aware of you and you could have hit them with the rocket. Just a thought.
Try going against a Temple Banshee, those are the true definition of untouchable.
Banshees are ssoooo annoying but I think grunt mecs can be just as bad

Not as bad as halo reach banshee.
Infinate evade and it cancels lock on.

Same with the halo 5 one I think. You can keep your aim on a target and not get de-locked (<-- I’m pretty sure it’s not a word).
Clearly, you haven’t gotten your hands on an arc light. That thing is the bane of everything that flys.
Couple of my favorite are
- Voids tear(or any plasma pistol cuz I like stealing other people’s banshees

2 . Arclight (railgun)
3.Endgame Spartan laser (it has a faster charge than the regular one)

I didn’t want to be shot by his teammates sitting on top of the hill. I did manage a lock on once but with the flipping it did nothing :/.
Warzone FF banshee enemies are super OP, they are hard to take down but not only that just a few of them one shot the whole team and you lose round because you don’t have high enough reqs to take them out at that point in the game. Super annoying.

I’ve died to three shots from those things before… it’s rediculous…
I’ve found Ad Victoriam quite handy - just keep the smart-link looking at the Banshee and it’s toast. Hi-five works well too.
I’ve definitely shared your frustration…as I loved the spnkr and rocket launcher as an anti-aircraft weapon. But I have since adapted by using the suggestions that others have made here. I’ve found that spartan lasers and railguns are the way to go for taking down banshees.
I think this is where grinding the weapon commendations are a good thing…they taught me to use some of the other weapons that I didn’t normally like or use. Before, I wasn’t too fond of the spartan laser…now I love it.

Well the point is that rockets are much more effective when they don’t see them coming. But if they’ve spotted you they can easily evade.

Yeah I agree in FF it only takes 3 shots from the plasma thing to kill you, I mean it’s ridiculous it’s like for FF they put the difficulty on legendary with reqs
That stinks sorry.
The recharge time between evades should be quadrupled at least. Or maybe like a charge meter concept like they have for boosting, so if you evade too much too quickly you’re just going to have to suffer and actually fly the damn thing for once. An evade seems justified if they see the incoming fire, but it’s the most annoying thing to see someone completely abusing the evade ability nonstop even if nothing they’re not being shot at. My pet peeve.
That and bunny-hoppers. Hoppers are the worst.

Except for some WZFF Banshees and Phaetons. Weirdly enough, the Phaeton Helmsmen boss round for Attack on Sanctum can be finished with a single Arclight if your aim is good.
