Why is halo so laggy lateley ?

Its been happening a lot where people skip on my screen as you shoot them and it helps them. I only took a couple clips cus i did not need a 100 of them. Sometimes shots dont even register. Is 343 having problems with servers or something?

I have noticed it aswell. Really annoying made me loose a game and i raged HARD!!

You’d think they’d just put out a notice and reset the servers or something. It’s slowly getting worse.

Last few days everything seem to be going worse.

It’s always been like this for some of us
and when we would complain about it we constantly got told
“it’s just you”
“get better Internet”
“it’s not the game it works perfect for me”

so so it’s good to see that more people are experincing this crap that we’ve been dealing with day 1
343 don’t know how to optimise anything

It’s been bad for me for 2-3 days. It’s highly variable also even during a match.

Been retrieving data for days. Wtf is going on.

Lately you say? I’ve been complaining about this for months on end. It’s been awful for most of the game’s life span.

It’s been super laggy for me the last 2 days. Glad I’m not alone

100% Agree!

Yea, the lag can get really bad. Another thing that happens all too often is someone on my fireteam getting kicked, so we have to play a ranked game with three. That’s always fun!

Ive been having the exact same problem the last few days but yesterday I played 3 matches and all of them were laggy. I was once running forward. Then I suddenly jumped 6 metres to my left then 3 metres forward and then started running into a wall when I had been running forward the whole time. I hope 343 fixes this soon.

Well, its obvious 343/MS are having trouble getting the servers to run well with H5 (or the other way around perhaps). But just posting complaints without any data for them to look into is not helping anyone. So if we do provide the data they are asking for it´ll make it easier for them to identify the root cause and possibly find solutions. My hopes aren´t great at this moment but we gotta do what we can to help.

Probably because everyone is playing TTS the playlist we all wanted and the servers are crashing

What kind of data do they need? There’s nothing for them to look at in terms of quantifiable data aside from the amount of game clips and user feedback online, which there are PLENTY of… Just the fact that numerous people are reporting problems should be enough for them to at least investigate the issue.

I haven’t had as many problems since launch as I’ve had just recently. It’s not like I have bad internet and have done nothing to improve my connection/speed and have had poor connectivity and refuse to acknowledge that the problem may be on my end… because it’s not.

No. In fact, it’s been as smooth as ever for me. Must be because I’m in America.

Well, they are listing the data they want/need in the thread. General complaints is not helping much, they need quantifiable data with regards to the following variables quoted below in order to scrutinize specific data from their servers. Otherwise they are looking for a needle in a haystack. To know which account had specific issues in a specific game and time is possible for them to investigate.
