So hated within Halo communites…but everywhere else, Halo: Reach is most peoples’ favorite, followed by Halo 2 and 3???
(no, they don’t like Halo 4/5 as much as those three, despite being non-Halo veterans and sometimes even casuals.)
P.S. Also, I’m a fan of Halo 5’s MP direction, I hope they keep up the awesomeness in Halo 6.
Abilities for the most part

True, but what’s up with Halo: Reach being everyone’s favorite outside the Halo communities?
(…and don’t say they’re noobs or casuals, because they like Halo 4/5 less than Halo 2/3.)

I didn’t know that was a thing, got me stumped.
It could be the time it came out in addition to how content complete it was.
My sister’s not really a part of the community and she said Reach is her favorite because of the level of customization she has over her character; Reach being the only campaign where you can customize your Spartan, so that sense of ownership could have a lot to do with it.
I can only really explain the dislike part.

I think the majority of the fanbase left so quite a few of the people who remain are “reach kids” or “halo 3 kids”.You still have people from the older games but most of them don’t stick around and play halo for years like they used to it interact with the community.
