Why is Halo 5 still so broken?

by broken I don’t mean the lack of content I mean the glitches and game design flaws that overflow in this game. Every match I play I get spawn killed, reqs won’t load, bullets won’t register the devastatingly inconsistent sword lunge etc I’m not ranting or anything I’m just disappointed and hope 343 takes the time to fix these problems. Does anyone agree?

And if you agree feel free to talk about glitches and problems you’ve experienced. Hopefully this will help bring these problems to 343’s attention

Honestly at this point I think it’s the engine.
It can’t handle this stuff.

Cause Halo 5 is awful, yes that is the most shallow answer you can get, but also the most accurate.

Are you sure that’s not just people using “smart link” with it? If you hold the left trigger, your lunge range gets much farther. Outside of that, any sword lunge inconsistency is probably just lag.

But yes I agree Halo 5 can be quite glitchy

What I find broken about Halo 5 at the moment is their servers!

Infection gametype still broken. 3 major issues. 1st round players not spawning. FFA Infection where everyone is an enemy. JIP puts you on both teams.

Content Browser LAUNCHED IN A BROKEN STATE. Some players cannot bookmark new content. Bookmarks pages give page 1 results on all pages. Gametype settings are being reverted. Players must save maps/gametypes in order to play them, which undoes the like/bookmark system and makes it so those players don’t get map updates when the Forger makes changes.

UI- Fireteams can go past 16 players, well into the 30s count. Fireteam leader cannot start game. Fireteam leader selections can revert to default when additional players join. Fireteam leader can be LOCKED out of removing players, and they rarely leave on their own if they joined past the 16 count.

These are just some issues to get the convo started.

Halo 5 la still broken because 343 has seen how many moneys can make with Req paqs for the Warzone, and doesn’t care anymore of the game as a whole.

The spawns are the worst in the saga, and compared with how beautiful they were in the other games, it makes me so mad. There are terrible spawns even in the campaign co-op, where sometimes it makes you respawn in angles, or in the middle of the map in front of lot of enemies. Awful.

General game glitches, from sound missing in the warzone intro to infinite loading of req packs, from instability with the server’s connection (random kicks from the game, here we go!) to Warzone not loading your Reqs.

What hurts me so much? The potential. The game itself has a great potential, but the developers are just so superficial and focused on making money that it just hasn’t a sense anymore.
Arena has been left dying, the speedrun-side of the campaign is meh compared with the MCC, and Warzone remains the only mode 343 has an interest about.

Because Most internet providers suck!!!

343 cares more about selling us a new set of merchandise every weekend than actually fixing their game’s bugs.

The only glitch I encounter semi frequently is REQS not loading properly. As I don’t play much WarZone stuff, it’s not a big issue for me.

REQs not loading and bullet registration have more to do with connection then design flaws, the sword lunge they can be using smart link. The only real thing that you mentioned that is a design flaw is spawn killing, tthats not to say there aren’t other things wrong, but just from what you listed there is only one that has design flaws the majority are connection based.

Ive had problems with spawns in some maps and i also feel as if the AR shoots a lot slower then before it doesnt feel like a regular AR from any other halo game
