In games such as COD Ghosts, you find lots of lobbies full of ppl talking on their mics to each other. Now, granted 90% of them are trash talking, but theirs still that small percent of ppl who just like to talk to each other while they play. However, in Halo4 i rarely find anyone on matchmaking with a mic, much less using it. If you have a mic, speak up! Talk to others on your team! Lets try and make Halo4 more than than just voiceless spartans.
and if we fail, then we fail. but at least we can say we tried.
i don’t use mic because there are always these foreign people who doesn’t speak english and when you say ´can you speak english please?´ they say: no fa####.
so its not any better in halo 4 if thats what you think.

Okay, to be fair, that was barely English itself. lol.
I do agree a bit, my default settings have everyone on mute all the time, but before I did that, I would get a lot of players from (Latin) Spanish speaking countries, and outside of food items and swear words, my Spanish is pretty much nonexistent.

That’s strange, I usually have teams with at least two guys who speak English and I never got Mexican (or anyone who speaks Spanish)partners, and everybody here has an Xbox 360 (EVERYBODY).

I would say the same for my Russian.
I get people talking a lot. Mostly younger people screaming into the microphone about their killing spree. Annoys me.
I think most people with mics usually play in a full party. Though there have been times where I was just searching solo and made some unexpected friends.
I use to play CTF really early in the morning and I didn’t have any friends online. So I would create a makeshift team from the people I met in matchmaking that day. A lot of people have mics, they just don’t have them plugged in all the time. Many times I have sent invites to players who didn’t talk, but once they joined my team they plugged their mic in.
I get people with mics often, even in rumble sometimes. And sometimes I’ve ran into the person who has the most sticky kills and we talk a bit before parting our ways. I have pulse.
I’m a shy person but usually i’ll have my mic plugged in, for the most part i’ll be silent but i’ll do callouts and if the person is talkative i’m more then happy to chat for a little bit. Really depends on the people in your game and if they’re in a party or not.

I get tired of the screaming of obscenities and/or blasting music. I will usually have my mic on, but usually regret it.

Where’s “here”? Judging by your gamertag, is it Mexico? I live in Ohio, and I’m always matched with people from Latin America (probably Mexico mostly) but they’re usually on the other team. I still do, even though everyone is on mute, it’s pretty apparent by their gamertags.
But then again, a lot of my coworkers and buddies are Mexican, and they all live around here, so these guys could just be down the street. lol.
I get a lot of people from the UK too. I’d say those two are the most common other nationalities I get matched with, outside of the US.
Unless I’m in a party with 4-5 friends, I am usually in game chat. I have to say, there are plenty of outspoken people online who aren’t nuisances, even if they are slightly… inappropriate. It’s always fun chatting with new people, even if it is through a muffled/robotic mic for about 10minutes. I figure those who don’t are either just not in the mood, have their own party, or aren’t up to converse with their fellow Halo fan; the latter is the most disappointing.

I feel this is related to the cod feel of the game. Halo 4 just doesn’t feel like the team-based game that Halo used to be. Just another thing to miss I suppose.
But this is why I speak only to people I know.
Yeah…the population has pretty much lost a LOT of guys who like to talk.
Party chat is better anyways.
Mine broke because of my adorable baby cousin touching it. Unless you want me to use the Kinect…
