Why is Halo 4 not back compatible yet

I haven’t had an xbox one for a super long time but what are they doing in terms of back compatibility because the games I see that are don’t seem that great. I was especially wondering when halo 4 will come out on back compatibility.

Thx,

I’m wondering the same thing. Because Halo4 and the Halo 4 from the MCC are completely different.

I’m sure it will become bc, and quite honestly, I hope sooner rather than later. Kinda miss my SR 130 being a thing…

It definitely will be Backwards Compatible eventually, just be patient. However, it might take awhile since you can play Halo 4 on the Xbox One through the Master Chief Collection.

Yea like the others say, it would probably come soon. I personally am waiting for Halo 3

Well, the people on the backwards compatibility team most likely don’t see it as a major priority. This is most likely due to the master chief collection.

bc h4 would be more populated than h5…that’s why XD

I agree. I also find it a hassle having to do all the missions all over again.

Isn’t Halo4 included in the Master Chief Collection? If it is why would they make Halo4 backwards compatible.

We also need Halo 3 BC, I still want play Xbox live in it.

What’s different exactly?

I think they won’t make it backward compatible because they want people to buy MCC

True

I don’t see why they don’t make ALL the Xbox 360 Halos backwards compatible. It’s a great series and it’s one Microsoft should keep promoting for the Xbox One.

I have Reach for the 360. I haven’t played it on XB1 cause I’ve read that it’s plagued with problems. If that is the case, they should first use it to fine tune the game, then work with the other Halos for backwards compatibility. I agree that is has been a hassle doing all the games again in MCC just so that we can have the achievements on record.

What you heard may be true. I have a friend who loves Halo Reach and he recently played it on Xbox One. What happened? as soon as a match started, he suffered THE LAG of his life, and he has a good Internet connection

I don’t think any of the Halo games (besides Reach) will be backwards compatible, the reason being is because they came out with Halo Master Chiefs Collection the game with online multiplayer and all the Halo’s (2, 3, 4, Etc.) original campaigns and all the good stuff.

because with Spartan assault, Master chief collection, and halo 5 already xbox one games all u would need is halo reach and wars moved over
