I like the graphics, gameplay, and just about everything else about the game, but i cant play it for more than an hour without getting off. It seems all i do is rage (not because i suck). None of my friends play it anymore, and it just is not enjoyable. The last time i had fun was when doubles came out, and i played for about 3 hours before i got bored of that. It seems there is no goal (ranks) to achieve and no reason for me to continue playing, but i want to help keep the halo community alive by boosting the population. I am not a quitter, but everyone else gave up, and i am about to do the same if something doesn’t change. Does anybody have any suggestions?
I’ve always played Halo just to play Halo. Never for ranks and such. Sure, they’re nice if that’s your sort of thing, but to me it’s always been about getting together and playing with friends and having a good time. To me, that’s Halo.So, I guess it’s the social aspect of it. I get bored of any game that I play solo.
Because it doesn’t feel like halo. I went back to reach (idc about your opinions on this game) and i’ve been having more fun.
You simply don’t like the game, no other reason. I feel the same about CoD, and Battlefield.
Personally, Ranks don’t have an effect on how much I play a game, I once went 10 games without picking my next specialization because it didn’t matter that much to me.
i agree. even with bloom and dwindling population, reach is far more enjoyable.
The reason why I didn’t return the game, Spartan Ops has pretty cinematics.
It’s really game style that judges that. A vast majority of competitives joined at Halo 2, which is why Team Throwdown isn’t acceptable to them. Social and creatives loved Halo 3, which is why 343i messed up on Forge and Custom Games, and I believe they devoted more time to story-aspects like campaign and Spartan Ops. They know how to THAT quicker now, so matchmaking will be arguably better next time. I play because there’s no pressure. But if we had a Social and Ranked Slayer, that would be better.
