It’s bad that 343i stupidly put on friendly fire but to have a boot option against team players that are actually trying to play the game. Seriously I had nearly 50 kills, tried to avoid betraying. I was literally dominating the game, helping and I’m punished for this. I wouldn’t mind being booted if the game was like Btb but seriously betrayals are going to happen often in Griffball, it’s counts me as DNF because of this. So does 343i expect me to automatically expect team players not to walk in front of me? because this is ridiculous.
How do you intend to handle the trolls that will just kill you all game?
Friendly fire is in grifball so you can’t “launch” your teammates immediately to the enemy side/goal. As for booting, the game is not fun when your team turns on you.

Thats the problem. Innocents who accidently betray get booted/banned because of those people in the past
Because there are people who abuse the game and constantly betray their teammates like the little -Yoink- they are.

By turning off friendly fire, I say.

By turning off friendly fire…in it’s current state it’s unplayable.
Honestly, you need to betray A LOT in Griffball in order to be booted. I can be betrayed ~3 times per teammate per game and never get the option to boot (not that I automatically would – it depends on the scenario). I betray people only once or twice per game. If someone betrays people over 4 times a match, they need to calm down. There is a difference between an accident and recklessly swinging your hammer around.

But then people will just hammer away all the time without consequence. I don’t know, man.

People do that anyway, seriously I’ve had people walk right in front of me while I was destroying the other team, I’m punished for team-members walking in front of me. It’s like 343 expect me to just go afk just because some of my team aren’t smart enough to keep their distance. Some matches are easy to avoid getting betrayals but when I’m trying to stop the bomb carrier then multiply team-members are trying to do the same then obviously in some games we’ll end up with plenty of betrayals…even if it’s not intentional.

I beg to disagree. Grifball is completely playable, I just don’t think players should be banned for quiting or getting booted in social playlists.

When a game kicks you for something that was put in place to stop trolls…instead kicks players that are playing fairly then yes it’s unplayable, it certainly puts me off playing griffball since it’s too easy to get kicked, possible bans later down the line due to teams running in front of each other. I don’t see the point of having friendly on at all since it causes more problems than solution’s like when it made Halo CE on MCC unplayable due to constant betrayals.
