Calm down. They are fixing it. They know of the issues, and they are proactively fixing it. This is much better than Bungie right now, they are completely skipping over the biggest issues they face and only fixing the -Yoink- that the casuals are complaining about.
Let 343 fix it, and if they feel like giving you compensation, cool. If not, stop bickering. Stop asking for a refund. Stop trying to get something for free because you don’t get everything immediately.
Thanks 343, I know you’re trying. I’ll still be here when you’re done.
Honestly, this wouldn’t be such a big deal if this were a game that was having issues online that people really wanted to play the campaign on. Don’t get me wrong, but the multiplayer is why I bought MCC but I still appreciate the H2:A campaign… but comparing Destiny’s problems to not being able to play half the game is kinda off point lol

This is how I feel lol everyone just needs to sit back and chill and wait go play a different game in the mean time.
They are trying to fix it, and they are proactive with other issues. Let them work before you flood their forums with ‘give me free -Yoink-’, or ‘give me a refund’ -Yoink-. The people complaining are nothing but casuals who were obviously not there during the original halo 2 days. There are always problems. You have to be able to deal with them.

Lmao some people still can’t play Destiny. Its like a trip to the zoo with the animal name error codes. At least you can play the game albeit one most desired feature is broken.
Not for nothing, but I would have beta tested this multiplayer into the ground and I think maybe they could have been more proactive with something like that.
At least you still have the Campaign to play through, I mean 4 games and 45 missions to complete. There is still so much value left in the game to tied you over until the MP is up and running. Knock out the easy Achievements now so you don’t have to worry about it a couple of years from now.

Proactively fixing it? I don’t think you understand how English works do you? Proactively fixing problems would be to release a finished game with -Yoink- like this being next to nonexistent upon launch.
This isn’t 343’s problem, as more than one game studio worked on this project and they were definitely not the primary.
While I applaud them for taking the hit here and saying it was their fault, this whole situation is fcked and we all know it.
Stop defending them (when I say them I say game devs in general). They can’t release a completely unfinished and broken product, bar none. This is becoming the standard for new releases and it’s absolutely horsesht.
The series has been my favorite since CE. This time the installation is still incomplete after 4 plus hours which means neither it nor any other game can be played in the interim. I rather think that is good reason for a bit of pissoffery.

They proactively fix OTHER things aside from what the problems are that you see. As I said, calm down and let them fix it.

Well, I sold my 360 to get an Xbox One specifically to be able to play this game. I purchased Xbox Live Gold for a year just to be able to play Halo. Then I purchased Halo.
I now own a $300 Netflix machine and 60 bucks of Xbox Live that I can’t use.
Sounds like a pretty reasonable reason to flip my lid, if you ask me.
At least Destiny worked day one. Nothing works accept to play the campaign by yourself with no unlocks. I can do that already on 360.
If you order a steak and fries and the steak comes under cooked and the fries soggy are you just going to grin and eat it or send it back until it’s done right?
As a chef my self I’d be embarrassed if I served something terrible. The gaming business is a service business.

I paid 450 for mine, and I bought it specifically for this game. I paid for it, months ago, and got a year subscription so I could still use it for netflix in another room. So what? It’ll be up. It’ll work soon. There is literally NOTHING that will happen to help them fix it. They are already doing that. You don’t get free -Yoink- because of some errors. If they decide to be grateful for you sticking in there, let them. But the blatant disrespect, and insults or ungratefulness of them actually doing what they did, I mean, come the -Yoink- on? (Not you in particular, just a general statement)

Do you expect a game this size to be perfect with no issues at all? Tell me one game that was as large as the Chief Collection or many of the RPGs on the market that had no issues at all at launch

The problems that exist are problems that should never have existed had proactive work been done, I am very calm I’m just correcting ignorance.
Please enlighten me on the problems they are “Proactively” fixing. I’ll wait.
No problem that exists right now currently should have ever come with a finished product, am I wrong to believe that?

So you enjoy taking it up the -Yoink-? How can you defend a faulty product?
