Why is everyone complaining about Halo Infinite?

343 has whiffed yet again. 3 strikes and you’re out. Time to end the suffering. Replace 343 with a competent studio or sell the rights to a company that cares about the product.

In f2p games I always stay full default everything, so I don’t even care about battle pass stuff. It’s fun destroying literal clowns running around with octopus arms and cheese heads. I’m actually annoyed that after 3 games, they still don’t understand what made Halo so great. I’m too lazy to list all of the points, but they’ve gone out of their way to make unnecessary and detrimental changes to the gameplay every release, every update.

I’ve played the flights, the betas. I tried to like h4/5 before refunding both. They just don’t get it.

Maybe people are complaining because they don’t like the game? Not having a good time myself. Aiming feels terrible. Maps are grey and uninspired once again.

I won’t say the game isn’t fun. The gameplay is some of the best they have ever made. But the progression system is utterly broken as it doesn’t fit into what Halo Infinite Multiplayer is about, from a player perspective. And that’s where my main argument is about. We need something similar to what we have in MCC, even just similar. They even already have medals in Infinite, so adding the system in shouldn’t be that much harder.

On the secondary note, I dislike that this game was advertised as “Your Spartan Journey” yet they have replaced genders with body types that all look the same. They need to add a female body type, even if it looks like Alice-130 from Halo Wars 2.

So far, I feel Halo 5 looked and played better to some degree.

I’m in 2 minds about this. I love Halo, and have been waiting for this game. Going back to the old art style is fine, though, it seems so bland to me, and the spartan models look out of whack. The Cod piece looks too big compared to the legs. Masterchief seems to look better from what I’ve seen. I don’t know, the models are just weird.

It bugs me, although I can put that aside for the gameplay, although even that feels out of whack! Something feels off. Aiming, bloom, I don’t know. All I know is I’m not enjoying my favourite game like I though I would…

Also, live service / battlepass…Worst fears have been realised.

That’s how waypoint has always been, at least ever since I started frequenting the forums. Negative threads always get a ton of traffic due to everyone arguing and voicing their take. At least some of it is constructive thankfully. Just know that the general pop is having a blast and this is where all the negative Nancy’s live who take things just a tad too serious sometimes

Generally, satisfied players don’t come here to express their satisfaction. Thus, public forums become overrun by valid criticisms that can look like complaining due to shear volume and the bad attitudes of a few people.

Idc how you spin it, Infinite is a phenomenal game. The battle pass and challenge system suck, but they’re also ignorable when the gameplay is intensely satisfying.

Because they believe there are issues in the game and those issues need to be voiced or they will never be fixed. Posts like yours that just complain about other people giving feedback should be removed because you’re adding literally nothing to the conversation.

Nearly all the top posts I see here are of someone complaining. It is getting very annoying.

Excuse me, don’t berate me for writing constructive criticism of the game. I don’t appreciate being called annoying because I wrote feedback about how BTB would be more fun if heavy vehicles spawned at the start of the match.

you should at least try to enjoy the gameplay

Here you are jumping to conclusions, “I wrote feedback about how the game could be better, therefore I’m not enjoying the gameplay”. For many people giving feedback here, this isn’t necessarily true. I am actually managing to enjoy the game a lot despite its flaws.

Said the guy complaining about other people complaining?

Best thing to do rn is to draw attention to systems that exist that are monetised, but still blowing basic player expression that Halo is known for with the colours in turn.

as for the Mark VII armour issue? those should’ve been in the free BP path.

I wonder if they looked to games like Apex & Overwatch which led to the “Exclusive Coatings & Skins” situation were currently in.

People will complain about things they don’t like. There is no reason to feel personally offended by it.
