Well you’re at diamond 2 right I’ve never got there but I’m pretty sure that’s a high rank. So you’re gonna be playing with higher level people. And if you’re solo queuing you should see if a friend wants to play.
That’s because Diamond & Above are the highest Ranks in Halo 5 and considering the fact this game is Comp focused I think that’s where SBMM comes in

Well D2 in 2v2 Competitive is probably just as hard to get to as a mid onyx in the regular doubles playlist 
2v2 is a hard game mode. Magnums only, no radar, and no spartan abilities. Most of the time when I play I end up relying on my hearing. It is usually slow paced but that can easily change. If you are a person who usually earns high multi kills with power ups/weapons 2v2 is going to be way easier. There are only 2 players, just kill them then spawn trap them over and over. With less people on the map and only one other teammate it is easy to be outsmarted if the enemy does something unpredictable.

This is what I noticed too. Constant flanks and re positioning. It just goes to show how much better ranked is without a radar.
It’s easy to get diamond ranks in the other playlists cause most games you play have mic-less randoms mixed in. As long as you are looking for friendly waypoints of teammates who are doin good when your having a bad game. And gravitating to weaker players when your on fire. You’ll win games with randoms
Double team us different because you only got one teammate to work with and your enemies probably play together often. And like swat. This is a playlist some play exclusively.
If your a diamond in team slayer then that equates to a high gold or low platinum in a playlist like this
The the absolute best 4 player teams warm up with double team customs against thier own teammates before they play ranked
The best part about this gamemode is the hatemail you when you do poorly. You should see the stuff that people sent me. Lmao.
doubles is hard cause you can get a troll as your teammate or or a noob but just keep trying
2v2 is a weird type of game there has to be some type of contestant pressure and if you slip up even once you can loose map control which also means you loose spawn control. Keep up that pressure, but don’t play overly aggressive and start throwing your corps. Good luck brotha
