Alright so I look around the internet and people are using cod as a reference to everything I mean HAVE u people played any other game than cod cuz all this talk about it feels like cod or cod did it better makes u sound like a cod fan boy
oh halo 4 had sprint, load outs and aim assist so it was like cod. please to take a minute and jump in this pool of sharks with lasers on there heads. there are a lot of games that have these things but people only bring up cod.
halo 5 has faster paced multiplayer so its the same as cod? wow so I guess the world only played cod in there many years of gaming or just starting
if you are going to use a reference how about u people stop using a reference to a game that has pretty much copied more than 50 games ever made but just 10% of the planet’s gamers are using other game references while the other 90 is using cod for every reference for any fps game come on
people plz if u are using only 1 reference to judge, review , or comment on something you are implying that you are either a fanboy/gal who never played anything else or don’t have a real reason to judge
Its simple its because a lot of the older crowd are somehow threatened by the fact that people like another game and so they choose to bash it
Call of Duty is by far the most popular FPS out there right now.
I mean I’ve played a ton of games (WAY more than your average xbox console gamer), and I could reference a ton of FPS’s, but some of them have probably never been heard of around here. It only makes sense that people would reference something everyone else actually knows of.
Ex. “Halo 5’s mixture of advanced movement and Halo fundamentals reminds me a lot of Murder Miners.” You’re probably wondering what the hell Murder Miners is, while everyone knows what Advanced Warfare is.
Yeah, it’s a familiar reference point.
However, I wouldn’t agree that many of the references made are accurate.
CoD is arguably the most popular shooter on the market, so it makes an ideal point of reference.
Matty: Classics you mean Halo and Call of Duty?
Sam Brenner: No. The real classics. Defender. Pac-man. Astroids. Games you play in an arcade which was a building outside of your house. You would go there with your friends, listen to music, cute girls everywhere. In ancient times, they call it ‘socializing’.

Reminded me of that quote.
