In the latest episode of Hunt the Truth, Ben and Ray discover that Master Chief didn’t kill any innocents during the firefight on Biko. There are those who believe that Chief who see him as the ‘Fallen Spartan’. Yet, Chief stopped the Sapient Sunrise from starting all out war with the Sangheili and tried to save Richard Sekibo. Why are they still seeing him as a traitor, if Ben found this out, wouldn’t the UEG and ONI find this out as well?
Because, they couldn’t get any of that evidence, and without evidence they have no case for the MC. The UEG is the one who gave the gag order on the embassy.
ONI are the ones who want to wipe out the remaining Spartan-II’s…

But why would they want to wipe them out, wouldn’t they think they’d be easier to control as they were indoctrinated at a young age to follow their orders. Now granted, Chief is now defying their orders…
ONI are most likely the group behind Sapient Sunrise; working theory is that they’re provoking a new war to decimate the rebelling Outer Colonies. And considering UEG refused Sekibo’s request for protection, they must be in on it too. Chief is their scapegoat.

Its not that Spartan II’s wouldn’t listen in most cases they would. The problem is they fear what could happen if they were not in control. With Chief basically going AWOL in an attempt to save the ambassador. Lets not forget how Ben described how fast the chiefs ship entered Biko’s atmosphere…I think he said it was mistaken for a fireball it was going so fast, meaning that stopping that assassination attempt was extremely important, and I think there are certain UEG councilors are secretly with ONI. But going back to the original, its like this: Imagine you have a dog that listens and obeys you completely, and then one day something happens to that dog where it begins to dislike or mistrust you. You would then have a fear that the dog would turn around and bite you. If that makes sense that’s the whole chief thing in a nut shell.

Where did you get that from?

That does make sense if ONI is somehow backing Sapient Sunrise, would really help their cause of trying to kill the Sangheili and other species.
He will be a hero once again. Maybe not in Halo 5 but he will be

343 killed halo and they know it, now they’re incorporating it into the story line.

I would like to see a darker side to the chief! Not as a villain but like a vigilant. Then become the hero again in 6.

Del Rio being the leader of the “True” Halo fans against the chief on the 343’s possessed ship lol.

Well actually bungie did…you do know that the rings are called Halo right? You know the big rings that you blow up? Bungie had us destroy those soooo technically bungie made us kill multiple Halos…and 343 hasn’t had us blow up a Halo yet soo…argument is invalid.
Have a nice day!

It was kind of hinted that they wanted to replace MC in the Halo 4 Prologue.
What a twist, the people you’ve been fighting for all these years, people that you’ve bleed for, has turned on you and branded you a traitor. Interesting twist.

Except A he wasn’t ONI and B replacing a single Spartan whom is presumed dead does not amount to an attempt to wipe out all the Spartan IIs.
So I repeat. Where did he get that Idea from.

Go cry about it.
The Sapien Sunrise has friends in high places. Likely ONI.
Sekibo asked the UEG to assistance a week before the peace talks that he was nervous of an attack on him and the Sangheili from the Sapient Sunrise. They responded not just with denying him said assistance directly, they denied him via message. ONI (who’s keeping members of the UEG Senate in the dark) must’ve had some involvement in the planned assassination, while pretending to think nothing of the Sapient Sunrise as nothing more than a few angry citizens. There has to be more to this…
