The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Had 343 made the decision to make Halo 4 just like Halo 3, people would complain. Had they made it like Halo CE or H2, they would complain.
Change is very diffucult for so many and basically it is the fear of the unknown. You want what is comfortable, what feels good, what you know. The introduction of something new is unpleasing because you do not know how to use it or what the purpose is.
Think of it this way, we are constantly evolving and so are games. Change is good. Sometimes it does not work out well but you can learn by it and make it better the next time. Halo Reach (IMO) is an example of this. They tried something new, some parts worked, others did not. Learn by it, and refine and perfect it.
So the question is, why are so many afraid of some changes in H4?
a)People love to complain, don’t take 'em serious
b)They are scared to adapt because they aren’t good at playing until they get used to it after dozens of matches
I’m afraid because I don’t know what’s in store they gave us vague showings and clues to Halo’s future…and with words like Perks and Loudouts come to mind,I sure as hell need an explanation what exactly is being implemented

> Agree, but that is the natural evolution of machines. Try someting new, if it does not work, take what does and build upon it.
That’s exactly what Halo 3 did, it took the gameplay from Halo 2, threw in a new weapon, or two, a new vehicle, and some equipment, added some cool new features, and then Reach molested what was perfectly good gameplay design.
