Ive been sitting here waiting for a game for a solid 5 minutes on expanded and nothing. So I switched to slayer and immediately got a game. If its this dead and empty why is it still permanent!? They say that snipers and doubles arent permanent because they dont have high populations. Well I bet they have higher populations than breakout!
It still has achievements/commendations tied to it.
Because it’s their playlist that they made themself so no matter what it’ll be too great to take down, especially if it were to be replaced with a horrendous playlist like snipers or doubles that no body Asks for

Yea I played it last week for the first time in about 2 months…and I regretted that decision soon after

It’s in Team Arena so it is still available if the playlist is taken down.

A lot of people have asked for Snipers or Doubles, and they are fun to play, I’d rather have them, than Breakout as a single playlist.

Breakout was taken out of team arena and for good reason. I do agree that doubles/snipers is a better mix of gameplay than breakout.
I mean clearly people want classic playlists and not breakout. They really need to just take the hit and replace it with something better. For the record I actually really like breakout, I think its fun with a team but it shouldnt have priority over snipers or doubles as a permanent

I can only find breakout games during peak hours or on the weekend now. It is certainly hurting for players. I’ve run into a lot of boosters too when I do find games. I’m diamond 1 in breakout and hit a nice group with 2 high level champions on a fireteam with a couple bronze players this weekend. lol

Yeah in my above post i agree, I do enjoy it I just dont like that a dying playlist is taking up a spot for something more wanted by the community
I actually haven’t run into not being able to find matches, and I am usually in plat 1.

When you say more wanted by the community, are you referring to this forum? If so, this is just a small percentage of people compared to the amount of people who play Halo on a daily basis. It’s very hard to judge what is wanted by the community. Team Snipers and Team Doubles had the same issues when they were their own weekend playlists. It took a long time to find games for either playlist. Those two are usually very low in population as well (using past Halo’s as reference, since it’s unknown in Halo 5).

pretty certain it was sarcasm but still I want every playlist, map and armour and vehicle and weapon that was ever in halo to be balanced and put in halo 6

He’s being satirical (I assume). Since so many people ask for Snipers and Doubles, he’s joking about them being bad.

Because… reasons! As far as I can tell, it was a pet project of one of their former designers/directors who fancied himself a speedball warrior, so they’re going to run it into the ground.
Some people enjoy it, but we’ve known since Christmas that it’s not very popular. The same can be said for other playlists.
If few people are playing Breakout, however, it isn’t siphoning off many from other playlists and preventing 343 from adding Doubles, Snipers, Action Sack (hopefully) or whatever.
Breakout is one of the best mode
