It’s been going on for three seasons in SWAT always with the same players.
Why is this crap still allowed ? Makes it not even worth playing the game anymore.

The worst thing about it is even if the stats etc look good, you still are not as good as you made out to be, so you look even more stupid

Exactly. Because they are terrible. Anytime I do get matched vs them with a team of 4 we always steak dinner them (is that still a thing?)
…I don’t even want to get into the fact that you are rewarded for the amount of games you play and not your actual skill. Since this new change in ranking or whatever a few months ago its near impossible to be ranked high in champ unless you put in 1000+ games a season…when did rank get based on quantity and not quality game play?

Hey being #1 Champ you can probably steak dinner most people lol. But no I’m not sure that’s still a thing lol.

Basically they have someone go on a low rank bronze account and they play on their 3 champs. That low level will pull other low levels in so they don’t actually play anyone good and get easy wins. Not only does this ruin gameplay for low ranks it also ruins gameplay for people who actually deserve the high ranks but can’t obtain them because they are constantly playing other high-quality players so wins aren’t 100% guaranteed like they are when boosting…and its been going on for three seasons. They did ban one person a while ago and he stopped doing it, they need to temp ban the current offenders now to send a message saying this isn’t acceptable.

One fix is to take the top CSR and use that for premades. However, this can easily be circumvented by people creating new accounts and boosting with 3 lower accounts (The boosting would be limited though). This would only work up until a certain level, but boosting, will most likely never be stopped any time soon.
I agree with Divine Shogun on the point that it is pretty hard to stop boosters. The amount of trouble wouldn’t be worth it, i’d rather they spend that time improving their games. And as for people asking why people still boost when most could care less about their k/d? Not to be rude to boosters, but as some people said it’s an ego thing. They have to feel like there good at something. Personally I don’t care about my k/d that much, it’s a game and I want to have fun. I’ll save achieving things for real life.
no one thinks its ok, its pretty desperate on the guys who boost. some people just have nothing better to do, i mean living in your parents basement can get tough, specially if they have internet block on you might need new to material, if you catch my drift. but nothing against the guys that legit earned champ, the chumps boosting are only making it that much harder for you guys. so congrats to the real champs out there. and apologies for the onyx players who are borderline that cant get champ cause of certain a holes cheating the system hogging up the top 200.
on a side not there needs to be a way, that only the account that paid for gold membership is the only account available to play ranked arena. that would allow you to still log into another xbox and play ranked somewhere else, but these additional accounts would only be able to play the non ranked games. that would help to an extent since i dont think they pass out free trials like candy anymore. idk just an idea

The problem comes when people who legitimately work hard for their rank are not rewarded for said work…I don’t know if it happens in other playlists but in SWAT its especially prevalent and has been happening for the last 3 seasons. Originally it was Block U who did it and got a temp ban for doing it, but the others have been left unchecked for 3 months.

While yes it is impossible to stop all boosting as way too many people do it these players within the SWAT community have been boosting like this, ruining the game for lower leveled players, for around three months straight in over 3000 games. I feel as if this continued amount of boosting should be looked at by 343 because of how much it hurts the playlist.
Its not accepted in fact is one of the bannable offenses just report them

i had suggested only the account that pays for gold on the xbox is the only account available to play ranked arena. that does not affect parties, and if the boosters want to get around it they would need more then one gold subscription, if they feel the need to boost that badly then idk what.
another way is to heavily pull ranks from the highest account in the party.
so say you have 2 champs and 2 bronze, well then no one lower then diamond 6 needs to be on the enemy team. give the higher ranks more pull when searching.

While smurfing and boosting is pretty much impossible to get rid of these players in the high level SWAT scene have been boosting for 3 months with over 3000 games played with bronze accounts. Basically I think that 343 should deal with players who exploit the ranking system to this degree.

They wouldn’t keep track of stats or have ranked playlists if no one cared dude…
I do agree boosting is pointless and such but it’s been here since h2 ranks as well, there will always be that guy who feels the need to get fake stats.
