If anything it needs a buff, Active Camo is already underpowered when compared to other AA such as Sprint or Armor Lock why make it worse?
I really don’t understand myself, it’s one of least powerful AA and I don’t know why people thought it was broken.
I’m really happy it is getting nerf. There are not too many things more annoying than good sniper with almost infinite camo.
Camo has always been like unexistent for me due to its useless, but since the TU takes place it won’t be even less…
I have honestly never met a camo sniper, so I don’t see what all the fuss is about.

It happens to me almost every time in Squad Slayer on Asylum. But it’s even more annoying in BTB.
Besides AC slows down Reach’s gameplay even more.

I miss the old Active camo. :’(
I disliked the radar jamming ability of the user. I think it should only be inflicted on the user. People underestimate the radar jamming ability which instead of acting like a warning sign just sort of blocks the motion tracker of the opposing team.

Why the obsession with “fast-paced” gameplay? Halo has never been a “fast paced” game. But I suppose you like arcade like shooters huh?

It was faster. A lot faster. 5 shot kills with bloom and slooooow shield rechard is a joke for me. + I don’t like to watch at the floor to see where my enemy is. I prefer to shoot them.
It’s just my opinion, you don’t have to agree.
And I hate CoD if that’s what you meant by “arcade-like” shooters.
I too do not understand why it’s getting a nerf, I think 343 have gone overboard with this TU in some areas and just listened to all the whiners.

Halo 2 was the best. Relatively fast kill times, and fast shield recharge.
It breaks down gameplay, like AL and bloom. All 3 need to go imo.
Halo never needed these stupid loadouts.
I’m surprised as well seeing it get nerfed. I’ve never had a problem with people using it. Even snipers. If anything I would’ve gotten rid of the darn radar jammer. Active Camo is useless to me.
But this certainly stinks for those who like to stand around. =P
I love active camo in this game, and the radar jammer.
I use it all the time to sneak around, or even to block the enemy radar while my team goes in and gets a flag or plants a bomb, and I also use it to sneak up on the camo sniper, and proceed to tell my team that the sniper is down, and needs a pick-up. I don’t like sniping much, so there you are.
This nerf makes me D:

i’m honestly surprised that you say you have NEVER met a cloaked sniper. i see it ALL.the.time. usually after i die, of course.

I swear that every time I play Boardwalk I run into at least one. And they’re always in the same spot/area. I always catch a glimpse of them from my respawn screen.
Wow. The only reason why I never use my favorite power up from Halo3 in Halo Reach and now they are making it even worse. 343 pleas at least for Halo4 bring the fun of camo back.
It’s getting nerfed because it encourages slow gameplay (literally you’re rewarded for not moving) and combined with Sniper Rifles on large maps is stupidly powerful.
I have NEVER, ever, seen a sniper with active camo. And actually, the active camo needs a buff.
