Seriously. Halo 4 post-launch was extremely unbalanced and there were like two decent maps if you were at all competitive. They didn’t include several gametypes that were a staple of halo games. I admit, it’s better now than it was but still needs some tweaks.
With all of the time they’re spending on this champions pack, I would not be surprised if the next Halo game is just as bad as this one. If you spend more resources and time developing armor than developing multiplayer maps the game is going to be terrible. Who cares if some randoms feel the need to look pretty in a game where they don’t even see themselves. Let’s focus on the things that matter.

But really 343i, you guys need to step it up for H5 or it won’t be taken seriously by the competitive crowd, aka the fanbase that stays for more than 3 weeks.
I really don’t get Waypoint sometimes. Half of you complain that 343i isn’t working enough on Halo 4, the other half complain that they work TOO much on Halo 4.
343i can’t win with any of you.
OP, do you work at 343i? Do you know exactly what all 343 employees are working on currently? Do you think all of them are working on Halo 4? Maybe some of them are working on Spartan Assault, or the next Halo game?
Think about it logically and you won’t have to rant.
They wanted to get the game out to you early which was still a magnificent game. They continue working on halo 4 because if they didnt they would get hate.
I’m at RTX … Bravo showed us the sneak peak, looks great…the pit is back plus a new map…armor and skins for people that like that stuff…a new game type…new armor mod…I mean if u don’t like it don’t get it…u just come across as a typical complainer sorry…

Because some people like that and its a smart business move. i would happily get it if I had any windows tablets, phones etc. you’ve got to remember Microsoft is in charge of 343 so not everything is their doing. Plus microsoft still wants to support the 360 users
What in the world are you whining about? 343 is putting more effort into one of their games than any other FPS developer out there. Bungie did crap with Reach after it launched, and after finding out that 343 is still adding new and fun stuff to 4 almost a year after launch, they have my full trust with the Halo franchise. They are listening to player feedback by fixing the weapons, updating playlists with new maps (forge maps, but maps nonetheless), adding fun new game types like mini slayer and fixing ALMOST all of the problems with the game. I’m excited for this and even more excited for what Halo 5 has to offer.

Wow a complaint that 343 is doing something FOR Halo 4? REALLY? There’s been enough complaints about them NOT doing enough for Halo 4. Now this?
Come on. Give them a break. Besides, the maps were done by Certain Affinity. The Skins are relatively easy to do. So it really comes down to the new armor sets.
Regardless, I am NOT going to complain about this bundle. I’m VERY glad it’s coming. Personally I think it would have sucked to have no new DLC between now and when Halo 5 comes out.

Is it bad that a business wants to make money? They’re not a charity.
You know, I thought people would appreciate that 343 decided to put some substantial post-release support into Halo 4. Up until recently developers apparently had to pay Microsoft a fee to apply small updates to their games, but this is to my understanding not the case any longer. If only other developers would seize this opportunity they might actually breathe some new life into titles that are still played out there.
Personally, I think these sorts of efforts actually contribute to have players stick around a lot longer than they would have otherwise. And I seriously doubt that the only players still playing this game are exclusively of the competitive kind…
Because supporting a product even if it is a failed one in the eyes of some people is still more legit and friendly toward the one that are happy customer and/or people still playing the game.
At least Microsoft doesn’t do a EA/Activision cancelling extension/dlc and support for a game because it wasn’t well received by a part of a community or isn’t as played as it should be. I was sure there would not be any support for Halo 4 considering Xbox One launch and the transition to a new generation so this is a shocking news for me.

But if the game is good is it still a screams gimme your money? Because honestly as long as the product is strong and offer quality content why would you care if Microsoft was to release tons of them on their various Windows 8 OS device (phone, tablet,pc and the future Xbox One).
If anything you should be happy and most consumer that are not blind hater would be happy to get quality games from the Halo series or any series for that matter.

Unacceptable! Absolutely unacceptable! To think that a business had such a shady goal as “getting our money”.
