Why is 343i not coming out with updates?

Every week I am just WANTING to read something new about Halo Infinite. I would have expected an Updated post about how they think the Tech Preview went, how it’s helped them etc. the complete silence from these devs are killing me.

They have updated us even though they are not required to do so. The next flight most likely is soon so they are preparing all the posts for that most likely.

While not direct from 343, there is a guarantee we get an update on the 24th. We don’t know exactly what it will be but here are the common speculations:

  • Halo: Infinite release date announcement - Halo: Infinite Forge info - Halo: Infinite Campaign Demo 2.0 - Halo: Infinite Flight 2 info - Halo: Infinite Story reveal

they are busy reading all the feedback and the trashback every fligth-player gave in the forums,
so the next fligth is more Halo according to community

Because they are working hard.

tbh the leaks have been keeping me busy lol

“Complete Silence”, you say? I mean, taking a brief look at News:: Halo Infinite on Waypoint’s front page it doesn’t look like complete silence to me. Just because we’re not getting weekly or daily updates on everything that happens doesn’t equate to ‘complete silence’.

I’d like to hear some news also but I’m sure they’re busy working on the game and trying to sort through all of the feedback to find something constructive lol.

I don’t want to hear too much before the game out and becomes boring when I play it for the first time because I know what everything does.

They are probably still reading through feedback from the first flight

It is very likely that 343 Industries will announced the release date for the upcoming Halo Infinite.

When it comes to the Halo Infinite Campaign Demo, this is the one thing 343 Industries needs to be very careful. While I love to see some gameplay footage from the Halo Infinite campaign levels, 343 Industries have to be sure that they cannot reveal too much in the gameplay footage.

Just be patient. Soon is Gamescom, maybe the devs tell us more

come on man, they crunching really hard. 6 years wasn’t enough time

With how large this game is speculated to be, I am sure 343 is being careful to not spoil too much and build anticipation. They are following the playbook from the original trilogy it seems.

Long story short, because they don’t need to and your post is a perfect example of why. You’re basically salivating at the idea of updates which is a pretty clear indication that your anticipation is at peak levels. You’re going to play Infinite regardless so their time is better spent elsewhere. For instance, by focusing on materials for the inevitable upcoming marketing push to try and capture the attention of video game players who aren’t already sold on the game.

I mean, look, I get it. You want more info like all of us. But you also have to realize that the reason it feels like you’re not getting updates is probably because you’re checking nearly every day for them. Of course that’s going to make it feel more drawn out. Most people who will end up playing the game aren’t doing this. If 343 is going to release an update, it needs to be something worthwhile that’s going to capture the attention of media outlets and casual players; not just us who are looking on a near-daily basis.

There’s a lot of work to be done, making posts takes time and effort and strategy. You’re hooked already they will update us but it will be with a big audience to drum up further interest. They also have a lot of work to do parsing info from the last flight, getting another ready and optimizing everything for the final build. This stuff isnt easy. Be patient and dont check everyday. You will be pleasantly surprised and be happier for it.
