Break out… a game clearly some one at 343 loves… but it seems the majority doesn’t like it. Them removing rankings tells me not many are even playing the playlist. So why have these breakout style games in action sack? It makes NO SENSE what so ever… I love that we have an action sack but breakout variants need to go. No one likes having to just sit there and wait for another round once they died. In tank world I died early in a 2 v 1 fight and there was over two minutes left… I just sat there thinking yep this SUCKS… came really really close to just quitting out… we don’t want games that force us to wait out rounds. Between this and those ridiculous long respawn times in firefight… some one is making some bonehead calls at 343.
343 be like… hey we got this new game type called breakout… not many like it and it has a low population therefore we should include breakout style games in action sack… because that makes sense

I genuinely think they are pretty fun and whacky game types. It’s like breakout, but Gundam style.
Just because you don’t like something doesn’t mean that others don’t enjoy it. It adds intensity to the game modes and creates more variety.
Whine whine…you are not forced to play breakout and i think you have it confused on what they are trying to force on us. Warzone is the one being forced down everyone’s throats especially with the reqs.
because it is a sad game mode to keep us bored!!!

You don’t have to play warzone either… but I have always loved action sack in every Halo. H5 action sack seems ok besides these dumb breakout style games.

Well them removing ranks and hardly any one playing break out shows MOST don’t like it.

I dunno what you’re talking about. I don’t feel like Warzone is being shoved down my throat, and I’m part of everyone, aren’t I?

I also don’t see how not playing after you die adds intensity… all it does is make it annoying and dull and more likely for your team to quit out after they die.
Um except the mini games in Action Sack are way better than Breakout. It’s not being forced on us at all. Don’t play Action Sack then if you don’t like the gamemodes.

I do like some of them. The husky raid is awesome. I have been wanting to try the ground pound arena but haven’t been lucky enough to get it.
Breakout as I see it is the odd one out in Arena game modes. It requires its own set of maps, or rather that’s what i343 thinks. I only played it for the easy achievement.
However, I think limited lives game types and modes require a specific set of players that can enjoy the vastly different style of play a mode like that promote. Halo 3 had a similar elimination round playlist when it launched, if memory serves it got removed in the first playlist change up and was never seen again.
I love Mechwarrior Online despite it being one life matches, or four life matches of it’s faction warfare. However I feel like that style does not fit Halo’s gameplay. Even as altered as Breakout is.
The reason why they’re working it so hard is because they’ve invested in it and want to see some sort of return from it, player population.
So glad that all of those Breakout maps count towards H5’s map count too…

Ground Pound arena sucks, it’s just getting spawn killed with beam rifles constantly.

What? Beam rifles on ground pound arena… sounds lame.

Super lame, I quit everytime I get it, I accept the ban.

They’re not. Action Sack is a collection of gametypes made by the community. It just so happens that breakout for a very long time was the easiest way to get a single elimination/round based gametype. They are functionally completely different from breakout so why does it matter?

No it’s not completely different… not being able to play after death is.pretty much exactly like breakout and one reason majority, even some of their “pros players” hate it.
You seriously can’t wait two minutes?. I like the game-mode a lot, it’s fun to roll around in a tank, knowing I have to be careful to avoid burning off the one life.
