Dang, 130+ comments and nearly 80+ are negative feedback because this game is still so unfinished after 6 years of development. I’m Surprised this thread hasn’t been locked honestly
Youd think after 5 years itd be finished. Why would a thread be locked for bein negative anyway
To be fair to 343, they’re incompetent with the complicated stuff as well.
That’s what’s been happening recently.
I’ve had at least 2 locked and seen plenty of others.
So much for listenin to the community huh
Pretty sure most of the BTB issues stem from players firewall blocking the IPs of servers they deem too far away. News flash: Going from a 60ms ping vs a 30ms isn’t going to magically change your KDA and make you win games.
All 343 has to do is do a ping check to all their servers when you go to queue for a game, if it senses you’re blocking too many, display a message to the player saying that there’s a problem connecting to the matchmaking servers. Other games have similar systems to prevent people from geolocking themselves into only playing on the server in their backyard. Yes, people could exploit this, but it would fall under laghacking or other external programs that are against the TOS.
*an edgy teenager… I know you aint tryna correct grammar and then make mistakes like this
This is an interesting development. :3c
They just proved they are the most incompetent studio and are not capable of recreating a Bungie Quality Halo game. Useless
This dude really just said:

They really just spent 2 months working on a networking fix and the result is that it didn’t fix what was broken, and it broke some things that were OK.
343 are incompetent clowns… Everybody get hyped for that roadmap next month!!!

Why would anyone want such a horrible piece of armor to be textured in the first place? Reach was an abomination.
So is there like 1 guy mass flaggin this whole thread or something
No worries, they’re also incompetent on the important stuff.
Don’t get mad its a live service lol aka "It will take 10 years for this game to be a “Standard Halo game”. Don’t have the helmet you want no worries we will add it in 2 years and you will pay $20 bucks for it… BF42 has tornadoes Fortnite sure we can add it within weeks… just sad… so companies have a good road map. 343 currently doesn’t they are in “IT” terms “OFF-TRACK”… Sprint planning is way behind…
I don’t like the use of language here. Very hyperbolic imo. There are some legitimate criticisms here, but I feel like we can put these critiques out there without sounding like butt hurt crybabies. Game development is really hard. I don’t think the developers are incompetent. They consistently put out stuff that to its core is fun to play. The issues seem to be more so the fault of upper management and Microsoft.
I don’t think Jorge’s shoulder piece is terribly important with all the things that team is working on.
The website team is a separate team than the game devs.
Implementing a new cosmetic system over the one that exists now is something that needs a lot of time to deploy. It’s not as simple as hitting a button. There is a marketing team and contracts and promotions and things that the team has already committed to.
Again, I don’t have a problem with criticizing the game, but I think it’s important to come at it informed and measured. If you’re just another rage baby on the forums ticking off the mods with edgy crap people aren’t going to want to listen to you.
One studio I do want to work at.
Doesn’t matter if thats the case or not.
Yes, they used staffing agencies. You can see the companies in the credits for Halo 4 and 5.
And there isn’t anything wrong with that. Agencies are use to give millions of people jobs.
Its microsofts’ contracts that suck. \
Key leaders leave big projects. It happens. Some stay for years. Some dont. Youre acting like this is abnormal; it isn’t really. The issue might stem from leaders who struggle.
