Why is 343 phasing out normal infection?

At first, I rarely got Alpha Zombie. However, now I only get normal infection about once every 20-30 games. Why is 343 replacing infection? Why did they even make Alpha Zombie? Did they not see that giving everyone the magnum would be an insane disadvantage for the zombies? They call it “Alpha” zombie but all they did was nerf the crap out of them. No active camo, not hidden off the radar when crouching, can’t boost, shortened energy sword range, and making someone a zombie for all four rounds, and a ton of other annoying things.

Any chance this is just a seasonal thing?

Also when will 343 reply to any of the glitches I’m having? The only thing I’ve ever gotten is regarding a REQ pack glitch and they always give me the same automated response where they can’t even use my forum name and use the generalized “OP”. Does 343 have any kind of customer support? Or is that as rare as a finish 343 game.

Never EVER seen it until this week. And I either play that or warzone, and play everyday

No i mean it’s been around halo in general. I’m pretty sure halo 3 had it and halo reach was almost exclusively alpha zombies. I don’t know what the deal with halo 5 infection is, mostly because I refuse to play it.

Again, same thing in previous Halo’s only Infection was the ONLY gamemode I played besides custom games on weekends with friends. Never seen that type of zombies before.

They might have it weighted more heavily in the rotation since it’s new.
