Anyone else hate the doubles playlist because of invisibility? Seems like it encourages camping on already to big of maps for doubles.
I don’t see that changing. My advice would be get it before they do, as obvious as they may sound lol.
Doubles can be by nature slower/more campy than standard 4v4 but the power ups and power weapons are what encourage movement. Camo especially is a huge advantage in doubles and you can’t possibly get a power up just by sitting in a corner. Furthermore the power ups last only a minute max so a good team will make the most of that time and actually seek out the enemy and take advantage of the power up. And if you just try to sit and wait out an enemy camo it won’t work either. Good players will search the map very quickly and the camo player will nearly 100% of the time get the drop on a hiding duo. So if anything the camo forces you to move and do something or you just give your opponents a free advantage.
The actual problem with the camo is that its position on the map heavily favours one team over the other in Eden and Molten for example.
I don’t have a problem with the camo honestly. I hate doubles because I’m a solo player which means I have a 50/50 chance of getting a terrible teammate or being that disappointing teammate for someone more skilled than me lol
