And, the future is unknown. While Halsey did do something that helped save Humanity, it doesn’t mean without them we would have died. There is alternatives.
Not to mention, as far as anyone knows, she’s collaborating with the enemy, even exercising overwrites on A.I… Actions have consequences.
I hope Palmer actually does shoot Halsey. (Lethal or not.) It would be more interesting then having Thorne or MC jump in to be heroes or prove they’re real Spartans.
Halsey probably won’t die,because in Halo Reach’s ending Halsey was talking in the year of 2589,which is about 30 years ahead of Spartan Ops,unless 343 decides to ignore that,than you should have nothing to worry about with Halsey Dying.
Its an ONI issues, she’s in hot water because she made flash clones of the childrens parents, additionally she took Kelly with her to Onyx.
If you read the books everything she did was sanctioned by ONI. Now they blame her for her actions when they knew exactly what she was doing the whole time. Most of the children she kidnapped most likely would have died in a Covenant attack so in reality she saved those kids, and humanity in the process.
