This is why i’m getting an Xbox One
I am really gonna like this.

Disclaimer: I have a PS3, 360 and Wii. I have a PS4 pre-ordered, plan on getting an Xbox One when Halo comes out and a Wii U when Smash comes out. I’m a fan of all 3 but prefer PlayStation.
That’s not really a reason to get an Xbox One because the PS4 can do all the things that are in the article. There are perfectly valid reasons to get an Xbox One (controller preference, Halo, XBL friends) but that is not one of them.

Same, except I actually prefer my Xbox 360 over my PS3.
All in all, it’s a matter of preference. The Xbox One and PS4 are both going to have features that appeal for certain people. In the end, it just matters what type of gamer you are. I’m super excited for the Xbox One and PS4.
I agree OP that Xbox One has a lot of great features, especially when it comes to sharing.
We almost didn’t have these features. Consider yourself lucky =D
Honestly, both consoles are practically the same (functions and graphically) and even developers have said it is surprising how similar both of the consoles are. It just comes down to preference. I have just invested too much time into my 360, and into my account (and Halo :D) to just leave Microsoft like that, so I will probably never leave Xbox, just due to all the time I have invested in it.

Those are the exact same features that are on the 360 right now, outside of everyone on the console needing Gold.
I also just like Xbox better. My hands are too big to hold a PS controller with comfort. I am glad they got rid of the DRM stuff among others. I would be getting the ps4 if they didn’t change it.
I’ll get it for Halo, the TV, and Forza. I also prefer the Xbox controller, they just nailed the design of that thing.
One of my main reasons is Halo, but another massive one is online.
Matchhmaking is going to be re-defined on Xbox One and I truly believe it’s going to change the experience we have online for the better.
I also think as we’re moving closer and closer to everything online give it a few years and the gap between Xbox One and PS4’s online features, performance and capabilities will be huge; I can’t see how Sony can compete with the might of MS online ability.

I feel the same way. I dont feel like throwing 5 years of gaming and 52000 gamerscore out the window xD
As much as i flirted with the idea of getting a PS4, things like Titanfall, Halo, and COD having dedicated servers brought me back. Also i love the Xbox Controller i cant wait to get my hands on that thing.
The shooter genre has become too stale for me to justify only purchasing the Xbox One.

But dat Titanfall…

It will be available for the PC, the Xbox 360, and the Xbox One. Because it is not exclusive to the Xbox One, I see no reason to purchase the console at this time.

Makes sense whats gonna be the deciding factor for you to get one?

The games are the deciding factor as to if and/or when I purchase a console. As of now, neither the Xbox One nor the PS4 have any must-have titles, for me at least, that are not going to be released on the current generation.
I’m getting it because the thing is literally nothing but awesome. It makes the PS4 “boring” to me.
And of course, for Halo.
