The only reason I play MCC more is because I only have one friend that plays Infinite, and he only gets on a couple times a week

I want to get to the next tour so my shield is blue, and I need a few H2A achievements. I am apparently absolutely trash at H2 MP though.
I still play Infinite more though.
I am really struggling to stay engaged with Infinite.
I completed all my challenges (plus week 1 of the event) and now I’m toggling between BTB and Quick Play and my gosh is it stale. I’ll probably take a break I think. There’s just not enough content at all.

So many players state this as their reasons for not playing MCC. However, most of the reasons players go play those Halos, or any old game for that matter, is not just because they may like those games but for the nostalgia. I find just the nostalgia of classic Halo is more fun than Infinite. Even if I’m getting poo poo’d on by sweats that never left in an AR start game on a map I don’t like, I’m still having fun. That’s just me though.

I’m still mostly playing Infinite, but this last week I jumped back into MCC for the first time in a few months. Felt good to play some of the classics’ MP again. Got reminded how really well done Halo 2 Anniversary’s MP was, and that it’s a shame 343 didn’t remaster a couple more Halo 2 maps for it. I still enjoy Halo 4 MP pretty well, and of course you can never beat the classics of CE and 2’s MPs. I do still need to get those 100 Environmentalist medals in H2A MP as well.
I switched back in january when i realized 343 isnt going to add more ranked playlists and the maps got stale.
Hard to believe people still play this and enjoy it, the only thing good is the movement and gunplay.
The only thing that will bring me back at this point is a 2v2 playlist.

I often crack open mcc, was thinking of doing a complete campaign run from reach to Infinite, usually play mcc mp when I can’t find a game on Infinite, but then I also wanna play on the maps iv’e been playing for years before population goes too low, even on mcc I quite often struggle to find a match these days
MCC is the superior game. All the things I see people complaining about in Infinite is pretty much non issue in MCC. I wish more players would come back to it. They might be “old” games but the amount of features, game play and multiplayer maps are all better than infinite. All infinite has on MCC IMO is that it’s new.
