so your playing halo reach online just play team slayer. you got one guy on a tower shooting at you with the DMR, and another guy in the distance with the AR coming towards ur position. you start shooting the guy in the tower. you are pacing your shots so you hit him. you are 1 shot away from popping his shields and he just hides behind cover.wow -Yoink- that right? no it gets even worse. the 2nd guy is now in battle with you. now you have to fire at him with your DMR like an old grandma pacing your shots. and now the guy from the tower who should of been dead is now shooting at you…
i hope u see where im getting at. this is the worst when ur playing on pinnacle. its impossible to kill anyone in the towers unless u have a sniper or something.
now with non bloom i would of killed that guy in the tower and then probably killed the guy rushing at me
This has nothing to do with halo 4. This belongs on the Halo Reach section of these forums.

Bloom is random. |fact|
Randomness alienates competitive players.
Alienation of competitive players leads to a smaller population.
The alienation of the fans could potentially be harmful to the franchise.
Harm to the franchise = lesser sales.
CONCLUSION: Bloom on the more important weapons is out of place and only leads to both driving competitive players away, and a potentially smaller sale of future installments.

i dont care about the randomness in general its just the worst thing for halo for my tastes

no need to be flaming. This has nothing to do with Halo 4, so it should be moved. Prepare for lock OP, this forum doesn’t tolerate this -Yoink-.

This what “competitive players” never seem to understand:
The vast, vast, vast majority of people who buy and play videogames are casual.
That is why nobody wants to cater their games specifically to “competitive players”.
