Watch the video to see for yourself but you probably have had this happen to you already. Like I said, in the video I don’t make videos of this but after what happened I think he deserves it. I’m tired of getting lined up with players on my team that put no effort in, don’t bother to help out team or anything. They are terrible, team killing, weapon camping, noob combo players and I do not want to be lined up with them anymore. And I know a lot of you players also agree it’s stupid. It would be okay if it was every now and then but I’m constantly getting at least 1 on my team almost every game. I support the feature of a Blacklist where you can completely deny playing with these players ever again. The whole “report” or “block” player system Microsoft has doesn’t work. I’ve used it and i still get lined up in matchmaking with these players again and same bs happens.
In this game this guy, who is the perfect candidate to be an example of what we deal with, does it all, betrays 2 to 3 times, i don’t get option to kick, throws a fit when he doesn’t get the weapon he was camping for and afks. And afterwards he got so bothered by the fact i took the sniper rifle that he had been camping for he decides to cry like a baby and send me a message saying “you piece of **** get off halo” all because he didn’t get the power weapon I stumbled upon. And I think it’s time we get a blacklist, because I would really use the feature. Eventually if this person does it too much he will get lined up with no one and it will be his fault he can’t play halo because of the unsportsman like conduct he has done for so many matches that no one wants to play with him. That would be great in Halo 5, I know it probably won’t be in the game when it launches but would be great to have in an update. This needs to get supported and added in so people like these guys don’t damage our quality of enjoyment trying to play a game. It’s kind of the main reason why I play campaign or coop modes rather than MM because of this. Ya we can mute them, report them or block them but nothing gets done about it and you still get lined up with these people. I know reporting fails and doesn’t do anything because I was in contact with Microsoft for 2 months trying to get a guy who was harassing me with multiple accounts, whenever i blocked one he had another. he went through 10 different accounts over a 3 month span. Something that was more than your average raging “u mad bro” gamer. That guy would boost accounts to get money so he could have infinite accounts, which is against MS rules and yet he still got away with it because his accounts are still active and MS said “we are sorry we tried to stop his playing ability but we aren’t having luck” eventually i gave up trying to deal with MS support and after a month more of harassment he finally stopped out of his own will because he is still playing. So the whole report system and banning is useless on Xbox one. A guy can literally lose it over a KOTH match because he lost and it delays his boosting and can harass me for 3 months and nothing gets done about it.
So a blacklist will actually get something done. If it’s too much work for a company to review every complaint that gets filed to get around to doing something. A feature of blacklisting players will allow us to not have to put up with these players anymore. The second they start acting like noobs, blacklist, no longer will you ever get them in a matchmade game they end up alone because they do it and MS doesn’t have to waste time reviewing everyones reports. Everyone wins, except the noobs getting blacklisted. I for one am for this. These players we had to deal with on Halo in X1 and Xbox 360 we no longer will have to deal with anymore. Anyone else support a Blacklist feature?
I block anyone who does too poorly / is constantly betraying or who does too well (lol just kidding… sort of). I have never matched up with them again. I don’t know how a blacklist feature would really do anything differently.
As far as your harassment situation, you should have changed your privacy settings to only accept messages from friends + block his main account and you’d have been fine.
Oh no a problem that was in past halo’s makes it’s way into the MCC. Seriously get over it, it’s game, just play and move on also a blacklisting system itself can be abused it’s not an answer to your problem at all.

If you read, i said it still lines you up with those players, they just can’t communicate with you but they can team kill again and suicide and afk etc. especially with Halo MCC population really low its easy to get in the same lobby with the same people. So the difference is you would actually block them, block, just like MS support will tell you, it’s just to block communication. And also this isn’t Xbox 360, now you don’t need to accept people’s friend requests to get messages so he was adding me, and since its a one way accepting he would just make himself my friend so he could keep harassing and there is nothing they can do about stuff like this. MS support admitted eventually that guys like him found out how to abuse the Xbox one live feature so much you can harass people and never get banned. i even had pictures of the conversations to send to them and even though the validated it they still couldn’t do anything. So apparently if you ever want to harass someone, don’t worry about repercussions, you can get away with it from what i learned from begin victim of it.Blocking his main account doesn’t stop anything. Not trying to sound mean just trying to say not to bother telling me what i should’ve done, because I already did it. You think it i already did it. the only way would’ve been to give up play xbox all together if he never decided to stop out of his own free will after 3 months. he even left his signature, the original GT he spammed me from, on all his other accounts messages as in a way to brag that nothing can be done to him.

Please go back and reread the OT, as i stated, this wouldn’t be a problem, if it weren’t for it ALWAYS lining me up with these players. And i don’t see the system begin abused. Because if you suck and you just try to blacklist better players eventually you play with no one because everyone that was better than you is block and you have on one under you because you suck. And if there were people under you, they’d block you for trying to abuse so it actually kicks the abuser in the *** instead if he tries to do that. Which just by saying that i realize this would help with the big problem i am seeing other people post about low levels being lined up against high levels.
And i do use the report feature when it is available and needed like for instance your post that you and me both know is trolling and i reported it so usually admins on here get on that but in Xbox with hundreds of millions online at a time it’s not possible to get all the serious ones covered. So this solves that problem.
In my case, I flat out support blacklisting, primarily to the toxic portion of the community that has no respect to those they beat, fairly or unfairly. Teabaggers, overkillers, greedy team killers, spammers, campers, online public boosters, everyone who just loves to abuse others for victory by exploitation. They do that because they don’t care and always state that “they are better than you and always are” or “we own the game and you never will” or other such nonsense like that. The way I see it; it clearly violates the Terms of Service (not just Xbox Live BTW) and justifiable for account suspension if not a perma-ban. What really insults me is that admins (Microsoft among others) are not doing their jobs to enforce proper online etiquettes. Since WE are paying THEM for this ($60 a year), THEY should do their jobs the WE are paying THEM for, if they’re not, WE should have the privilege to “fire” them for not doing THEIR jobs. You know the old saying, “play nice?” It’s insulting that no one follows such things anymore and refuses to care. So I’m with you, blacklisting foul players from communications is just not enough for us, we need to blacklist them from matchmaking with us ever again as well. After all, every single online community NEEDS to be cleaned, not just Halo, but also Call of Duty, Minecraft among others that are well known for its toxic player bases. PC communities should follow this example as well! “Play nice, or never again!” is my motto upon this continuing issue.
Was about to comment but when I clicked on your profile and saw this “USER HAS BEEN SUSPENDED UNTIL 2552-10-29 5:00 PM PST DUE TO POSTING INAPPROPRIATE OR LEAKED CONTENT” I am no longer taking anything you say seriously.
EDIT - Even though you’re banned I really hope you can still see responses to this topic. After watching your video I am definitely not supporting you. You come across as pretentious, and kind of a cry baby. You keep calling him butt hurt, but you were so butt hurt yourself that you had to make this video and complain and cry about it. You then admit that you jumped off the map with the sniper so he wouldn’t get it. You acted just as immature as the guy you’re complaining about, and basically lost all credibility in my eyes.
While I support the idea of blacklists, I don’t support you.
