Honestly, I am very late to the Halo Party so to speak; never played anything Halo until Halo 5. The only reason why I purchased the XBOX1 was to play this game. I guess what lured me in was the Story line i.e. books, Halo Universe, movies and animation etc. I read the Fall of Reach and I was totally blown away over the attention to detail and the Military style of writing.
I am currently on my third Halo book “First Contact” and now I can fully understand and see how the story line and the Halo Games merge with each other. I also downloaded the Halo Master Chief collection because it would make my gaming collection complete.
Who could forget the Halo Release Party? Interviews with cast and developers around the world; I thought I was watching a premier red carpet event and it was!
Even while I am at work when I should be preparing for quarterly meetings; I find my self on these forums reading the latest and greatest news and staring at clock counting the hours when I can jump back online, to execute that perfect kill.
My kill to death ratio is terrible but I don’t care I still love this game, and trust me there are nights when I wished I never picked up my controller because I cant even get out the base with out getting Sniped or blown away by a Scorpion Tank no matter what exit I choose.
I guess what bothers me the most are all the negative posts. This is not my first Rodeo by any means, whether I was playing Destiny, COD, SOCOM, BATTLEFIELD I would here the same arguments. I know they are just opinions, but when I see all the work 343 has put into this game and the continuous support that it gives on a daily basis I have to say Bravo Zulu!
Tell me who in these forums just does not appreciate the Halo Universe Phone APP? Seriously?? The, videos, pod casts, community creation content is awesome!
I remember when I saw on twitter that Bungie congratulated 343 on the release and I thought for a minute that was so professional, something that is lacking between developers these days. You knew quite honestly that Bungie was proud of what 343 has accomplished.
343 Thanks for the updates; the free maps and a rich back story and the release of new Halo Books this year! Long Live Master Chief!
