First you have to kill the four Brutes that is left behind, that is easy enough, but after you jump on the platform to attack, you can’t, as you have to wait for Sergeant Johnson to shoot Tarturus with the Beam Rifle, which causes Tarturus’s shield to disappear, but those shots can be blocked, so you have to hope that he is in an open area, then when the shield is down, you can attack. But being shot doesn’t make him flinch, so if you go in for an attack with the Energy Sword, he can either kill you in one hit, or fling you off the map, also many weapons that would kill a Brute in one hit will not do the same, so you are head shotting him with a weapon that allows head shots, than the shield comes back up, and you ave to do it all over again, and he doesn’t flinch once so you have no idea if you are even harming him.

It is pretty hard but the best way is to get Johnson to shoot him.

That’s why it’s a boss battle right? But I will admit, I wish I could attack him without the help of Sgt. Johnson’s beam rifle.
He goes down really fast to dual Brute Plasma Rifles. On legendary I keep a Carbine as a secondary to quickly deal with his reinforcement Brutes.
If you really don’t want to deal with him, use the exploit to get the Spectre into the control room and get four Johnsons to basically do the work for you xD
