Lower levels are just not much of team players for whatever reason it may be. They literally will sit at the back of the base and not help get power weapon or when they do they will try to steal them from friendlies.
Lower ranks have good aim and everything but they suck at team work. So many times i get pushed by two or three enemies just to see my teammate crouching waiting for me to die before he decides its time to come out and start shooting them. By that time im dead and he waited too long so now hes on a 2 on 1 as well and hes also dead.
In team arena trying to play the objective is harder since lower ranks want to play defense sitting at your base "defending’ the flag. Little do they know playing like that you will lose because you will be on defense the whole game.
Yep, at lower ranks the people you are playing with aren’t going to be onyx players, the easiest way to get out of that fray is by playing with a team.
i partied up with some people in team slayer and we didnt lose but they get on later than i do. maybe i should go into FFA and ask people if they want to play team something.

most of the time yes
I have lost objective games when everyone on my team goes +10 or more.

Yeah this happens all the time. I’m stuck in Platinum at the moment as I play solo, and 99% of the time nobody has a mic! I often get put up against teams, who always get camo and OS, it’s annoying as hell. I have my mic on, say “guys OS is back in 20 seconds lets get set up”, but when I get there my team are all just running around the map solo. Then 3 enemies get to OS and kill me, take it and go after the rest of my team.
Finding truly good team mates is hard as anything in Halo. I know exactly what you mean when your team mate hides and watches you die, I can’t count the amount of times that’s happened to me. Another annoying one is when you’re stood on a power weapon waiting for the last few seconds, rockets in 5… 4… 3, then instead of covering you, your team mate runs up to you and stands right next to you in an attempt to grab them! What often happens is that the enemy will kill both of us and take the rockets. So dumb. And what’s more annoying is that the guy who tried to compete with you is probably on a score of 0-10, and would have just wasted them anyway.
And yeah, CTF base defenders are just clueless. What chance have they got of stopping the enemy when a team of 3-4 runs into the base? Lol. Strongholds is another one - they just run around in circles the entire game, capturing bases and letting the enemy take the others. Defend two bases, it’s not hard! Don’t go after the third, we don’t need 3. TBH I don’t really play Arena seriously when I’m solo, I just play for the fun of killing. The only time I play seriously is when my friends are on. Team Slayer and FFA are my serious tryhard playlists.
yea in strongholds they try to cap everything and you end up losing two
