Why I am going to stop playing Halo 5

While I can’t choose the server region I no longer will play Halo multiplayer.
Too much lag in most games since the last update…
I don’t want to be forced to play on foreign servers. I have not paid for that crap.
So I wonder why I can’t choose the server region as in many other games like BF4, Titan Fall, etc.
