I imagine horrible challenges, bad net code and hit registry issues are the top problem not the motion tracker.
Itâs always been there the only thing that ever moved was the shield/health bar in halo 2 it was moved above the motion tracker then in 3 moved back to the center top of the screen.
Yup, the radar is pretty awful. The range is too small, and itâs not obvious though where âpingsâ are being detected.
I agree, Itâs just the tracker is the topic of this thread.
(or in Tactical Slayer; Swat!)
I meant more from a gameplay perspective. Not technical issues. Challenges are its own thing though. I wouldnât know anything about that other than everyone complains about them. I just get on and play the game.
At any rate, people want that changed. If you wanted to chime in just to say you know whatâs at the top of the list. Ok.
Bruh the radar is very important. Its not terible right now but doesnt get the job done, Its not a user preference its a core mechanic. There isnt really footstep audio like COD and not everyone wants to play ranked. Old halo had 25-30mm Radar This one is 18mm. Its kinda wack, has barely any range and u cant tell if someone under or above you.
just needs a range change from 18 to 25 or so. BTB should have 30 or 25
Ew no⌠Itâs fine the range it is now.
I donât want radar doing all the work needed to find enemies for me, and force people to have to crawl everywhere to actually be sneaky/stealthy and outsmart good players.
Bro, this is halo. Radar has been in every game and worked like that. Go play cod or rainbow six siege. You could just pplay ranked if you hate radar so badly.
An it would be a easy fix for 343 to do.
NahâŚ
Itâs currently much better here then it was back then. Just gotta git gud if you canât track people without your long distance motion tracker. I can do it just fine with how it is currently.
Arenât the bright red lines on players already doing that to this game though?
Those donât really track through walls, but it makes people easier to see through foliage I guessâŚ
Although I admit, I generally look for other players through movement then just looking for a character so even without the outlines it wasnât too bad unless it was like, forest level foliage lol.
Bro its annoying constantly getting back smacked because they only appear on the radar when they are directly behind you.
Bigger radius motion tracks dumbs the game down for bad players. Thereâs a reason why itâs off in ranked by default. Itâs because you can make it harder to out smart dumb players by allowing them to see you come from behind. What you suffer from is tunnel vision, which is a bad habbit to have in shooters. You need to be better aware of your surroundings when you play.
You can also use other means of telling when people are around you as well. I use sounds for instance to tell when I have a person thatâs near me.
Even with itâs smaller radius, it still can give you a lot of information for whatâs going on around you. It also lets you get away easier from presuers which I feel is a good thing. I canât count the number of times Iâve gotten out of tracker range, hide in a corner and watch enemies who are trying to bum rush me to try and keep up waltz right past me, giving me an opportunity to out play them even with things like shields being down.
Thats why crouching and active camo exist, relax the game doesnt need to be a sweat fest. Im in diamond on ranked btu when I play quick play with mmy friends I dont wanan sweat.
Active camo isnât always available, crouching everywhere is also extremely slow and is more often then a waste of time.
How it currently is doesnât make it a sweat fest either. I donât know why you even suggested that it does.
Bro what are you talking about. Maybe Your are the only one not experince SBMM but in casual play its not easy. You seem to be soem kinda esports player so understand that poeple wanna have fun and not always play ranked.
There is no casual play in Halo Infinite so far. Weâll see what the new playlists bring.
