So many people are hating on, or arguing about some of the most limited things.
Hating on armour
Hating on AA’s
Hating on weapon power
Arguing about ranked or not ranked
And then hating on the LE
Why hate on the armour? It’s not like 343 are Making you wear it.
What’s the point of arguing about weapon power? It;s only going to matter if every single shootout you have is perfectly balanced and let’s be honest here, most are never completely even in a heated game.
Yeah i get it, having a ranked playlist would be awesome fun, you get to feel rewarded for being good and gives you something to aim towards. Yes I don’t see why casual gamers get so passionate about it being in there, because obviously having A ranked playlist would not affect their game enjoyment at all. But why attack them, when some have had terrible experiences with Halo 3’s ranking system, doesn’t mean you should attack them for not wanting it. They have just had a worse experience of it then you!
Yes, the Limited Edition we got a bit screwed over. Although never saying that the specializations were exclusive, they did lead us on about the length of time we would have with the specializations over those that bought the Standard Edition. But what we were paying for was never really that crazy awesome in the first place. It shouldn’t really matter, isn’t it enough knowing that you will be getting something extra, as well as being able to look back and realise that you have bought the limited edition of a game series that you love?
Why hate so much? The game hasn’t even come out yet, can’t we at least allow ourselves to give Halo 4 a chance? After all 343 did bring back Masterchief!
tl;dr Why hate on the game when it hasn’t come out yet, give it a chance. Hate on it when you have reasons to hate on it!
When we complain, we allow 343i to recover from their mistakes. At this point it is sadly too late for Halo 4, but hopefully they can learn for Halo 5…
But as of yet they only thing they have done wrong is the screwed up mess that is the LE, other than that we don’t have the game and don’t know what’s going to happen?

Perhaps they look at Halo 4, knowing that soon it will be out. But instead of the beauty we observe, they see ugliness.
They look with their eyes. And we look with ours. The Halo 4 We see is one filled with, fun, and entertainment and Possibilities. They see Halo 4 as just a game with things that they do not find appealing.
And the Reason for their hate you ask?
Fear. Fear brings anger to the tongue. Halo 4 is not out yet so it’s an unknown variable. Humans like to know what’s coming up and know what to expect. But we cant with Halo 4. Humans also like to Control our lives best we can… But we have no Control over Halo 4. So amidst all the unknowns and darkness, panic and worry set in. And once they reside… fear arises…
People dislike change in general. Most “competitives” think they know whats “best” for halo and how halo it should be. Also casuals tend to bash on people as well. Even if some people have valid points. Neither side is more or less right or wrong.
Because people don’t know how to speculate, they assume their opinion will always be fact and that if you think differently, then you might as well be saying the sun smells like colors.
You don’t need to play a game to have a reason to criticize something that’s part of it, especially if that game has given us hours upon hours of footage.

…dude…that scared me man
On topic though, there’s nothing wrong with complaining or voicing your opinion. Take Armor Lock for instance. Even though many people tried defending it, you gotta be honest, that was one of the most broken things to enter Halo. It needed its fair share of hate in order to make sure that it never returned. I only wish the community could’ve taken their focus off of it once their point was made because somehow jetpack (which might have been worse) managed to slip by undetected.
My only wish is that the community would at least give Halo 4 the benefit of the doubt. I’m not saying to “glorify” it and think it will be awesome, but don’t hate on it before the release. Go into it with an open mind. I mean, the game isn’t even out yet. I know some people think they can “determine” how the game will play before it comes out, but there is honestly so many different outcomes it could have. Where you might “determine” that it will play one way, there are also other ways that you had to rule out that might end up coming true. If, when you get the game, those problems you “determined” come true then go ahead and make all the threads you want complaining. All you accomplish by complaining ahead of time (especially when the game is gold) is a lack of respect for 343.
Do I think the game will be great = maybe
Do I think the game will be awful = maybe
I’m going to keep an open mind and play this game when it comes out, then if I find issues then at least I know that I’ll be complaining for a purpose, and will have an aimed argument and not just some concerns.
You know, it’s like the nice guy who thinks he deserves something from that “special” girl he’s always being nice to. When he doesn’t get anything he calls her a “-Yoink!-”, because a -Yoink!- is somebody who sleeps with everybody, BUT you.
