It has. Sort of.
After that voting process was over, 343 rolled out the very…painful March update. This gave us the Super Slayer playlist which is the same as Team Slayer. Except it utilizes the TU settings (settings i prefer).
Bleedthrough is now gone as well.
Yaa they really F’ed up the game online. The game is as fragmented as Android OS. Shh is BS and i don’t know why anyone would allow them to do what they’ve done.
Because those that enjoy the TU have been given a playlist of their own, preserving the game as it was originally designed.
Because despite the very vocal people on the forums demanding it, they researched and found that the majority of players didn’t like it.

Via logic, a vote was held in TS testing the new update, after which 343 decided to create a playlist instead of switching the standard playlist. The population of this new playlist is one of the lowest in Reach. No matter how you look at it, it is apparent that a minority of players prefer this playlist and these settings.
If a standard playlist was setup for every playlist with the original setting (MLG being the exception) those playlist would almost certainly be more popular then their TU counterparts.
<mark>Technically Neo represents a non-vocal majority not a vocal minority which would be those that favor the TU settings as apposed to the original settings.</mark>

Thank you for telling me what I already knew. That claim was fabricated and cannot be sourced because there is none. The intelligence of this forum continues to amaze me. Have you figured out what MLG settings are yet Plunderfull?

You really can’t tell either way. There could be tons of people like the OP sitting around wondering why Team Slayer hasn’t been updated and not realizing that Super Slayer is what he’s looking for.
It’s also possible that most of the population simply doesn’t care about the difference between the two settings which I think is the more likely case. If you remember back to the whole voting situation pretty much every user reported results that favored their preference almost 100%. This means that the people they were getting matched up with either didn’t vote or voted arbitrarily with no specific preference for one or the other.
There’s also the fact that the people who prefer the TU are more likely to not be playing Reach because they were dissatisfied with the original settings in the first place.

The settings for team and super slayer should be reversed. Shouldn’t matter considering you think that the population of team slayer is due to its settings.
Yeah, ive actually been wondering about that too… What would happen if they reversed the settings? I prefer super slayer, but i end up playing team slayer because: 1) pop is higher in team slayher 2) i end up playing alone quite often and Super seems to be filled with more parties. 3) Some of the people i play with, dont fully understand team concepts againts another team.
So really wonder if they reverse the settings, would people really notice? I personally dont think they will.

If the settings of Super Slayer were superior, then people would not have to be tricked into playing them.
Truth is, the TU has been given more exposure and been pushed more then anything in Reach and despite that effort have floundered. I doubt 343 will resort to deceit as well.
Super Slayer is Team Slayer with TU.

Thank you, ya just haven’t visited forums much lol
But they still fubared the voting system when they were doing the voting. I have quite a few friends that play a ton, and ive had to numerous times explain to them the difference.
