the flood is the biggest thing in this game so they don’t want to show any one and the first trailer shows a quick look at the flood.
So we could relive being surprised by their sudden appearance…again?
In all seriousness I think it’s more for those who have never played CE before so they don’t ruin the moment for them.

That’s a good point. Never thought about that.
Also, I think it might be that they’ve overhauled them pretty extensively, and they want us to be shocked by their appearence. They’ve most likely tweaked their entrance a bit, too.
so people piss themselves if they’re new to halo. this is for fans and for people who never played CE.
They’ll reveal it soon enough. We’ll get an insight on the remaining Halo’s status updates.
The flood were a suprise the first time around, but knowing that their part of the game, it will be a new suprise to see what their Combat Evolved HD incarnations look like.
I honestly hope I don’t see what they look like until I’m actually playing the level 343 Guilty Spark in Anniversary.
Except they had…has no one here seen the gameplay vids?
I dont want to see the new Flood. It takes away the horror sensation when the scene is building up to scaring you with some alien monster, when you know exactly what the monster looks like, where its coming from and what its going to do. While we know where its coming from and what its going to do already doesnt mean we can have it all ruined. I want to have the original feelings I had when I first played that level all over again and I’ll be -Yoink!- if I let anyone ruin it for me.

Except that if 343 does reveal pictures or footage, you can just avoid it because nobody is going to force you to look at it, right?
I’m guessing they won’t reveal Flood until…well, we see it with our own eyes. 343 wants us to feel the same fear we felt when we saw the Flood the very first time. In HD it’ll seem even better.

I’m questioning why they haven’t shown Cortana yet. I’m hoping she looks like her Halo 2 and 3 style.
I hope they don’t “reveal” them. That will make 343 Guilty Spark much more better.

That Cortana Chip prop for the Avatar represents Anniversary’s Cortana… not much of a revelation but…
343 is basically doing what Bungie did when Halo:CE was first released, as far as I know Bungie said nothing about The Flood during CE Dev and marketing stage. It kinda makes sense, I guess.
Not showing the Flood before CEA would be kind of a bad marketing strategy to me…
Because they don’t want people to know they copped out and used the Halo 3 flood models >.>
