why hasn't 343 made a Halo Fall of Reach movie

I know there is a Halo Fall of Reach book but there should be a movie for it in Halo Legends

They were planing to make a live action movie based on the Fall of Reach. But it tanked.

That would be real epic. Maybe in Spielbergs TV show it will start with this then progress through the other games.

Bonnie Ross stated that Spielberg’s show will take place during the events of Halo 5.

I’d rather we tell new stories rather than just rehash old ones.
