Why has only about 5% of players beat the story on Heroic or higher? Where are the Vets

Because I can’t be bothered to finish this excuse of a Halo campaign, only other Halo campaign I could finish in one sitting or very quickly was Halo 5. I MIGHT force myself to finish it in the next 6 months, but why waste my time on such a bad game when there are so many other better ones worth my time? Halo is dead.

uninstalled mine 2 months back because the DRM on Xbox means we really can never know if the campaign will always be available. It’s the same thing with GT7 right now which has many voicing their upset over such a stupid inclusion. I was quite enjoying it but nah 343 and has lost my interest in the franchise. I play these campaigns many times over and have done since CE but not potentially being able to play Infinite campaign meant I wasn’t going to even bother. Had they said very clearly that this game require an online validation every time I played then I wouldn’t have bothered

Maybe cus they want a new generation to play halo but they dont understand all these young kids play are battle royales.

I myself want to play the campaign with my buddy i played it with 15 years ago

Edit
I could go on for an hour about every issue with this build

But im sure in year er so the game will be complete
Such a shame this game was rushed out so they could their pathetic cat ears

The thunder skull alone warrants a replay. With Mythic on luck will not save you as the deaths pile up.

I wonder how many more rare achievements there are for gamepass games versus fully paid games, or what the completion percentage looks like a month before and after a paid game goes to gamepass.

My brother downloaded the multiplayer. He’s not so much into Halo but we played quite a few rounds together until he got frustrated with it. He never had any intention of playing the campaign.

I guess im happy to be part of that 5%

The campaign was awesome, not very many complaints in that regard. I always play through on Legendary my first time, then go back through again for collectables. LASO on Infinite was a hoot!

I best halo legendary with all but like 2 collectables in like 18 hours, wsnted to save laso for when coop comes out…if it ever comes out

Because, while the gameplay is really fun (but, in its own way, Halo 5 was too) and there are a couple of nice ideas (the grappling hook, which I initially feared could distort the game, is a great addition), there are too many bad mistakes and heavy shortcomings. The single player campaign was a bitter disappointment for me: it abruptly and inexplicably interrupts the narrative line of the previous ones, but above all, with its Assasin Creed structure, it replaced all the epicity that characterized the francise with a repetitiveness aimed at extending a excessively the broth, diluting an already meager and difficult to understand plot; moreover, the videos are practically absent (which with Halo Reach had reached an incredible narrative level). I mean, I think this is unfortunately the worst campaign in the Halo series.

Because the ~!@#$%^& Tovarus and Hyperius glitch. Playing on Legendary of course.

“20 million players at launch”
5% completed heroic or higher
I don’t know man, 1 million people sounds pretty reasonable
I personally think LASO was extremely easy thanks to the bandana skull, but I did every difficulty except easy, because I didn’t want to bother with easy

I made one run through to get the story. Then decided maybe I will play campaign again when you can actually replay missions without having to start an entire new game. It is sad such a simple basic feature has to be “added later”. Halo should have never went open world. There was nothing wrong with a linear campaign, which made for better story telling anyways.

As of today, Heroic or higher is at 3.14% and at any difficulty is 10.06%. Even on True Achievements where the users are way above the Xbox Live average for achievement hunting, it’s 21% and 48% respectively. Now that the campaign has been out for a few months, those %s are unlikely to fluctuate much over time especially since it’s already available on Game Pass.

For what it’s worth, the Your Journey Begins achievement in MCC has a completion rate of 65%.

That’s an achievement for finishing a campaign mission OR a match making game.

I’m a ‘multiple times through everything on Ledge’ kinda guy, so sadly I guess this applies to me.

Short answer:

This just isn’t the conclusion to the trilogy (on a brand new fancy engine that’s been in development for a long time) that I wanted. There are good moments but the abandoning of the conclusion and the lack of depth just left me cold.

I’ve tried to go back but I just don’t want to enough.

I beat it on heroic but didn’t get credit.

I think my son played on my save once and it screwed me over. Wasn’t about to go back and replay it.

I’d say it’s mainly due to the replay value being at an all time low. It’s my understanding that many players play the campaign at lower difficulty levels then do it again at harder…but the campaign is so shallow, empty and boring that a lot of those don’t bother with the second run.

I’ve always been a Legendary or nothing kind of player, and completed it twice on 2 different accounts just to get 100% completion and the cosmetics…the second time around was painfully boring and repetitive, and I literally have zero interest in doing it again if/when co-op is released.

Lol because theres no coop for those of us who love to play campaign with our friends on higher difficulties.

And i dont feel like grinding higher campaign difficulty solo. Just not my preference.

Ask 343 when they’ll release coop…but probably wont be until the next halo comes out at this point lol. #343IsADisgrace

Most of us are waiting for co-op before we do the heroic runs. Sad but true fact.

I always played campaign on legendary solo in every halo game before I even went into multiplayer.
This is the first one im not interested in the campaign or story at all.
Also not having to buy it has a major influence on it as well, in the past you bought everything so might as well, now I have no reason to spend the money on just a campaign that will disappoint me.
Especially knowing how bad the gameplay feels.
Totally lost me.
