So i always feel , like halo 5 have less map than other halo… but i realize its the same number… here a summary:
Halo 5 :eden/empire ,regret/truth , stassis/torque, colisseum,the rig , orion , plaza , pegasus , mercy , overgrwoth, molten , riptide, fathom , tyrant , *****( a map i forget the name who i only see in team slayer… he haves a rocket in the middle outside)… (18)
Halo 4:
I don’t play it , so i will need help… but when i look on internet it seems to have 29 maps…
Halo 3( when i look on internet i found some map i don’t remember i maybe don’t play it)… anyway i show the one i remember and was here for long:
Valhala, The pit, Standoff, snowbound, Rat nest, Narrows, Las resort ,Isolation, high ground , guardian , Ghost town , Foundry, Epitaph, Construct , cold storage, black out . (16)
So halo 5 have 15 maps if we said clone map are count as 1 … When i was playing halo 3 , i never find a problem about the number of map…
But halo 3 have 16 maps and halo 5 15 maps… So why this feeling of fewer map?
It would be nice if you don’t close this thread (monitor)… i just want to bring a conversation.
Because so many H5 maps in arena play so similar. They pretty much all cater to CQC. You can really tell all map effort really went into warzone. The only arena maps that really stand out to me is Torque and tryant.
the differences in the maps and the different sight lines are really show during fiesta. I understand that “fiesta” is not how the game was meant to be played, but the sight lines and movement you see in that gametype really help open your eyes to the way the maps can be played. I’m not saying more variety in maps would be a bad thing. I miss the differences we had during 3 with maps like narrows, construct, guardians, high ground, etc. Very different game play on each
