Soooooo how does it feel to know that halo is DEAD… you made this game for the causal gamer. When the hardcore gamers and true fans asked you to fix/bring certain mechanic to this game, your respond is that we are a minority. So we leave, now that all the casual gamers have also abandon this game who is now your audience? Good luck trying to entice us for halo 5.
It was a game headed by marketing people rather than developers. Sad.
its not only that, they fail to listen to the community. we have been complaining for the last 6 month and they only brought a few feature back that is an half -Yoink- effort. havnt played this game in months. I got on last night to play on the new map because i was one of the many people that unfortunately bought the season pass and the population was less then 20,000 player. its pity full. Many of you consider halo reach to be the worst halo and it never drop this low even after halo 4 was launch.
I still have fun on H3 
I haven’t given up completely, I still check out the website and forums hoping for gameplay fixes.

Halo 4’s population is a result of a few factors.

The Bungie fanboys’ bias against Halo changing hands

The fact that CSR is only JUST NOW coming out. Things like that need to be features on-release for AAA shooters. This isn’t an MMO, people aren’t going to be sucked in and expect radical changes over time. They want the game to be complete when it ships, and the next time it radically changes shouldn’t be until the next installment.

ohhhh trust me they reply. they make sure that you dont spoil anything about unreleased material, but our opinion hold no value. Every time i hear something from a developer its alway in a somber and meaningful tone about how they care about the community and what draws them to doing the thing they do but i dont see a lick of that anywhere.
the first red flag should of went up when people like me bought the game seeing halo 4… oh boy! it will be just like other mainstream halos matchmaking. it will have the csr that is so addicting and makes me want to not leave my xbox ever. but no… everyone left… waiting to come back. but there is no reason to. whn i have to force myself to play this game. they took away the one thing that made millions buy it in the firstplace…

You make some good points, they could have done 2 things to fix this mess.
- A Beta (Most minor issues in Multi-Player would had been resolved).
- Delay the launch, to have CSR from launch and visible in game.
343 are trying to make changes, but much harder for TU on a console game. And not all things can be fixed.
343 will learn from this, and Halo 5 should be a big improvement (I Hope).
Overall, I think Halo 4 is much better than REACH, population levels do not show this, but that is my opinion.
I would like to see weapons appear on map, and you have a single loadout.

Halo Reach’s population was roughly 70,000 over the course of an entire day after two years.
At any given point in time from mid-2011 on, it was never any higher than 25,000 players online, and sunk as low as 12,000 players on slow points.
If Halo 4’s population is around 32,000 players on at a most random time in the day, it most likely pulls more than 70,000 players on over the course of an entire day, likely upwards of 90,000 even.

So, why not send this to someone from 343, that way they might actually look at it.
Then again I wouldn’t expect any response or acknowledgement from them if I were you, because this thread offers no evidence or solid argument and offers 343 no constructive advice.
