Why Halo Wars covenant vehicles not appear?

Tell me why most of the Covenant Halo Wars vehicles not appear in other Wars after Halo Wars events…
pls.

Because they didn’t exist until after Bungie finished the original Halo trilogy. Canonically, it’s possible that units such as Vampires and Locusts would have appeared between 2531 and 2552, but because there isn’t much media dealing with that part of the Human-Covenant War, we haven’t really seen them outside of the original Halo Wars. However, with 343 dealing with much of the post-War era, they have made appearances outside of the games, such as the Escalation comic series.

Because no game is complete representative of their faction’s arsenal.

Aside from Halo Wars itself, we only have Cole Protocol (which came out before Halo Wars if I remember right). Everything else takes place during 2552 or afterwards.

An game doesnt need to represnt the whole power of a faction.

Because then that would be a lot of vehicles and covenant stuff! Although could of been cool to see a vampire make a return into an FPS Halo title!

I think Halo 6 would be the perfect game to introduce the various vehicles from Halo Wars into the FPS games, since from what I can see, the Infinity will encounter the Spirit of Fire if they flee to the Ark to avoid Cortana’s influence.

Don’t forget Contact Harvest, or most of The Fall of Reach!

Contact Harvest only covers the very start of the Human-Covenant War, and only features a Kig-Yar missionary vessel and a much stripped-down Jiralhanee cruiser, neither of which has a huge amount of vehicles (hence why the Chieftan accepts the two scratch-built plows Lighter than Some makes as the first Choppers).
Fall of Reach also only features Covenant ground forces in a very minimal section, with most of the action being space-based and naval engagements.
Time-wise, you’re right. In terms of perspectives, though, not so much.

They’re definitely small, but I felt worth adding ¯_(ツ)_/¯
