Okay, so, you know how at the beginning before it was released, people were on team Locke and Chief. And you know how (forgive me for this) Destiny has Warlocks and Titans and all that stuff, why can’t there be an update where a massive schism opens up between two or three spartan groups and turn into two (or three) factions. There could be special emblems and amour variants to show which you went for.

We cant because we already have one. Spartans. IF there were faction names then BUNGUS would be one.
Actually, there could be faction exclusive req weapons. Or maybe not. I don’t know.
I’d rather not limit unlockables behind a gimmick of ‘factions.’ It’s bad enough how long it takes to get most of the stuff in this game without paying money as is. Just my two cents.

No, as soon as you joined a faction, the stuff would be automatically unlocked. Actually, it could improve the spartan companies. If not factions then at least an emblem pertaining to your spartan company.
I’d be down if you can join certain factions in the game, I’m pretty sure 343i could do something to balance then out on what type of items you can get.
This doesn’t seem like a great idea. Not even lore wise. Not too much sense there
