Why Halo Reach Had the Best Art Style

Alright, I’m sure many can agree with me, but I’m going to state why Halo Reach had the best art style for Halo in general. Main reason I want to make this is due to Halo Infinite and how the art style is coming back. I feel now is better than never to share our ideas for 343 to help in making the best Halo experience. Now, to the topic, Halo Reach was a perfect game (in my opinion of course), I feel it executed everything perfectly, of course with flaws, but we’re not going to get into all that, we are talking about how Halo Reach had the best art style. Now Halo Reach had that perfect view of the Marines, Spartans, and especially the Covenant. The Marines looked realistic, like they’d be viable in combat, with a perfect rouged look that gave a good masculine and intimidating vibe, as goes with the Spartans, it added character to the UNSC and the Marines which also blended with the environment so perfectly. Everything looked of actual human design, vs Halo 4 where everything seemed foam like and overly detailed in all the wrong ways and the worlds seemed out of a sci fi movie. Now yes, this is a Sci fi game, but why follow up with what a generic sci fi game would consist of, which is not Halo, Halo has much character to it, that Halo Reach added, which added well with its story. It seemed as if we were to advance in technology, that this is how it’d shape out to be. Now, the Covenant. The main thing in this topic is the Elites. If their was any game that did it right, it was Reach. Elites are equal to Spartans and this shows the might of the Elites. Also it shows the crazy hight difference all the other Halos failed to touch on. Then the cutscene with the Elite Zealots, they looked not only intimidating, but looked as if they could all stand toe to toe with all of Noble team. Now I’m wondering you guys thoughts, sorry if this is very vague, I just wanted to start an interesting topic, for hopes 343 would get some ideas for the new art style they’re implementing.

I wasnt a fan of how the brutes looked and other then breaking previous lore and removing and adding certain weapons,I really liked halo reach.Campaign was surprisingly good

When I think art style I think of Sparth and Isaac’s work and honestly the team that designed was definitely the best guided. But the talent really just shined out amongst the other games they worked on.

They looked similar to Halo 3s to me atleast, other than the ones who barely had clothes on.

Yh Halo Reach artstyle Was really good aswell as H3, just cant beat them!
