There are a few reasons I can think of.
- Of all the Halo games, 5 is the fastest, most mobile, and most precision-focused in terms of gameplay. I think this means that it would work brilliantly on PC/M+K.
- The visuals. You’d get unlocked framerates, ultra-HD non-dynamic pixel counts, and none of the performance-saving features (low shadow draw distance, half-framerate game elements, etc.)
- With Halo Wars Definitive Edition, Halo Wars 2, Halo: CE, Halo 2-4, ODST, Reach, and Infinite all either already-on or coming to the platform, Halo 5: Guardians is the ONLY Halo game of any kind to not be on PC. Would it really be that hard to complete the set? I know I’d buy it again for 20-25 dollars.
Just let me know what you guys think. It just bothers me that this great game (and yes, just because the STORY wasn’t great doesn’t detract from how excellent almost everything else about the game was) is the only one not on PC. Maybe offer it as a pack-in with a special edition of Infinite in addition to standalone? PLEASE 343I, just make it happen eventually.

Its probably gonna happen eventually. The engine is already on pc when you download halo 5 forge (free on the windows store) you can play custome games and features a custom game browser. All the work has been done to put it all on pc but it would require the final polishing that 343 have been giving all other versions coming to pc including FOV sliders and the like
