Why Halo 5 needs Team objective and Rumble pit

Halo 5 has very little to no objective playlists. There’s only Strongholds and CTF (Warzone is excluded from this list so don’t bother correct me). If there is a lack of objective playlists Hslo 5 gets stale and repetitive Team objective and Rumble Pit tend to give us a peltorah of objective based gamemodes which most of which are absent from both matchmaking and customs. If 343 decides to add in team objective and rumple pit they need to include :

Team Objective :

  • Multi Flag - One flag - Assault - One bomb - Team Oddball - Team crazy king - VIP__Rumble pit :__

  • FFA - Swords - Oddball - Juggernaut - KOTH (& crazy king)If these gamemodes are put into Halo 5 it will give Arena a lot more variety and could hopefully see us rise in popularity for Halo 5.

I prefer different slayer and objective playlist because I have a different mind set for each. Playing team arena slayer throws of my mind set to playing objectives and vise versa.

Well assault is in the game just not in MM.

How about we get the game modes first?

Team objective/Rumble pit are the only way to play most of those gamemodes in matchmaking. However we really need custom game options these gamemodes.

You forgot head hunter for FFA. I’d be for more objective gametypes, but the other playlists like Team Arena and BTB could use them as well.

Definition of the word “Rumple”, for those interested. :grinning:

I agree with you and many people have asked for more objective modes in Ske7ch’s thread.

Torque needs to see some action. It plays well with ball gametypes.

I know!

Try writing Unfriggenbelievable on here, I bet you’ll have to do it twice .

I thought rumble pit was the same as ffa? Aren’t they both the same thing, a free for all?

Edit: ignore me. No seriously, do it now

I would love to see Rumble Pit return, but we can’t have 8-player FFA on the vanilla maps; they’re too small. We’d need some Forge remakes of classic Rumble Pit maps… maps like Guardian, Tombstone, The Pit, Lockout, Assembly, Ivory Tower… you get the idea.

Some people might be against the idea of using only Forge maps in Rumble Pit- which is pretty much what they’ve done with Big Team Battle- but considering all the vanilla maps are garbage and poorly designed for FFA… I’d rather just have some quality Forge maps.

Also, Rumble Pit absolutely must have a motion tracker range of at least 25 meters. The pathetic 18m range we’re currently stuck with is especially damning in Free-For-All.
