Why Halo 5 is Halo to me.

  • We get Covenant, UNSC, Master Chief, etc- We get to drive vehicles (Not like Cod’s very straight-forward/scripted driving sections)- We get to be Red and Blue spartans in multiplayer- We can’t go prone- Motion Tracker, instead of a minimap.- Assassinations- Melee instead of knifing- Equal starts (At least the only *mainstream/new one on consoles I can think of)- Weapon Pickups on the map- Custom games (Ability to tweak almost anything: Speed, damage, ammo, shields, etc).- Hip fire reticles on precision weapons (Instead of COD’s icky crosshairs)- De-scoping (so people don’t just walk around constantly zoomed in like every other fps)- Longer kill times (So you don’t die in 4 bullets from an smg like almost every other fps)- One of my favorites: Kill formulas (That’s what I call them)- 2 melees- 1 melee, 1 headshot- 4 headshots- 3 body, 1 headshot- Etcedera!

I’m excited for Halo 5. I think 343’s doing a great job on it so far.

Halo 5 is more like Halo than not like Halo. I don’t get when people say “It’s not Halo anymore”. Halo 2 wasn’t Halo 1, and Halo 3 wasn’t Halo 2. They were still Halo.

Great example. People don’t know what they want until you show them. The complainers will complain. And the true halo fans will take the good w/ the bad.

I’m just waiting for “halo is a generic shooter wahhhh wahh!”

I come on here everyday to see peoples thoughts and have a good read, but the last few days has been pathetic and I’ve avoided nearly every thread.
