I already posted about this early today and it frustrated the hell out of me. So apparently you don’t get the Legendary ending unless you beat the campaign on legendary SOLO. Now I am not a good enough player to beat this game on Legendary solo. I don’t understand because every other Halo with a legendary ending I beat co-operatively and got the fcking legendary ending!!! This makes me angry for one simple reason: I DID THE REQUIREMENT TO GET A LEGENDARY ENDING. I understand I can look it up on youtube but it’s not the same. I went through it twice and still haven’t gotten it. Just because i am not a good enough player to play the campaign on legendary solo I don’t get the ending. NO THAT’S FCKING RIDICULOUS!!!
343i You officially suck! i loved this game and thought you were better than bungie but this is as limited as that recon armor crap they pulled in Halo 3 where you had to do those extremely difficult achievements just for some amor. This is crap and f*ck you 343i for doing this!

The legendary ending is the exact same as the normal ending, except at the end it shows chief’s face for a second. So if you saw that then you got the legendary ending.

That’s the thing i didn’t get to see his eyes. The only way you can see his eyes is doing it solo. I just tried doing it and couldn’t get through the first mission!

You can get the achievement for finishing the game on legendary co-operatively but you don’t get the legendary ending. It blows

There is an achievement for doing it normally. I think it’ll be fine.

Legendary Solo isn’t that hard. You just have to take your time in getting rid of enemies that get in your way.

You can either A. get better and/or take the time to beat legendary solo (there are many guides on how to effectively beat Legendary solo, many tactics which will transfer over to H4. Or b. you could go to youtube and type in “Halo 4 Legendary Ending”.

First of allBungie did the Recon Armor Achievements and thats just your personal opinion and no need to make another thread.

I don’t see the problem, or much of a problem in this specific instance at least. I would agree that the legendary ending should be viewable through both solo and coop legendary, but I don’t necessarily think it “ruins the entire game.”

This. People are in too much of a rush. Patience will get you there no problem.

No it creates incentive to play the game by yourself. Just how the specialisations are an incentive for competitive multi players.

All opinion my friend. Just how I believe that the only thing that sucks in Halo 4 is the community, more specifically, the minority who do nothing but complain in the forums and than go and use all the cheap and “BK” tactics.
