Why Halo 2 PC should not have been made for vista only

I know halo 2 vista is an old game but I have a reason why Halo 2 Vista should NOT have been made exclusively for Vista.

Microsoft apparentally made halo 2 for windows vista not caring about the halo fans who were using XP at the time. One of the employees at Hired Gun decided to go ‘Hey! Let’s make Halo 2 exclusively for vista so the users on XP will upgrade!’. This was a stupid idea, considering the fact that users on XP did NOT have the money or budget to buy Halo 2 AND they thought that this would make Vista get more users. First off, Microsoft; You don’t make your operating systems popular JUST by making your games exclusively for that operating system. Plus, vista is a crappy operating system. So I don’t see why you should make your games exclusive to vista.

Vista’s waaaaay better then xp, if your saying it is crappy because of the the stupid claims it crashes, just no. That happened when people were abusing the os and it crashed after they abused the hell out of it. Then news sites just abused the story worse just to make a quick buck, look at the iPhone 4, same thing happened. Then you can say the same about halo 3 and the 360.

Who still uses XP? And if you’re complaining about when it was released, it’s the past, get over it.

Vista was lousy on release but got a lot better once it got more support from vendors, service packs and updates were released.

Windows 7 is what Vista should have been.

I hate how Halo 2 Vista is not compatible with Windows 7. And there’s so much potential but nearly everyone’s given up on it.

Gosh, it was just a simple marketing push to help make the unpopular Vista seem like a more viable platform for gaming on. I coulda sworn there was a way to run it on XP anyway so there’s no need to be upset if you’re still rocking that ancient virus magnet and want some Halo 2 pc action.
