- Spartan stances are useless, no one sees them
- Can’t view other spartans in the lobby
- Veto is removed, why?
- Very often same maps (sometimes 3x same map in a row)
- More maps would not have been a bad idea
- Emblems are not changeble (not halo!)
- Emblems colors changing is limited, preset colors only, why the hell would you do this?
- All armor/weapon upgrades available are optainable PURE based on lucky cards or by spending alot of money: so a badass look is not skill based, and this is wrong! It ruins the passion for getting yout favourite item.
- All warzone content is optainable PURE based on lucky cards
- Theatre bookmarks don’t work
- All weapons have zoom aim function (not halo!)
- Warzone is in fact a game of scoped br’s, and if you were not LUCKY in getting a scoped br card, you are in disadvantage against people who did have one. How can this ever be a fair game?
- Weapons have silencers (not halo!)
- Weapons have cod style fancy skins (not halo)
- The new rank/division system is far less challanging and less encouraging to play further like it was in previous halo games, the monthly reset makes this even worse
- Banhammer strikes like a headless chicken
- People are still quitting, so banning does certainly not help that much, the problem stays
- Spawns are often bad and spawnkills happen too often
- Warzone spawns are often far away from chosen spwan base, causes you to get killed faster. If I choose a spawn base I want to span inside or upon it, so that I am safer
- Warzone boss scoring is broken: zero points for doing most of the damage, all points for 1 single last shot (it’s fustrating as hell)
- Not 1 warzone (biggest playlist ever) map has a large open area where vehicles have overview and give you the feeling of a free and open halo playground (like blood gulch or valhalla had for example)
- Spartan charge, in combination with sprint, in combination with short radar radius is: rediculous! It leaves a victim totally chanceless.
- Arena needed more playlists
- There is no splitscreen
- No online co-op singleplayer
- The radar seems to be way to short in reach
- The radar also misses the little arrows above or beneath a red dot to indicate whether someone is above or beneath you. Previous halos had arrows, it worked great!! Now it is gone, why!?! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!
Lol.
>banhammer strikes too often
>quitting is happening too often
But you know. Logic. This thread is about as useless as the spartan stance you claim you hate.
Not a fan of lists. It’s self explanatory that Halo 5 should have been better, and some your examples of how it could have been better are fairly valid, though many of these just sound silly to me.
> -Emblems are not changeble (not halo!)

I don’t see how any of these inherently break what Halo is. I couldn’t care less about emblem customization, and I could say they’re about as useless as stances are. The zoom function is worthless on half the guns that have it, and just because something wasn’t present in previous games doesn’t mean it automatically breaks the spirit of those games. Silencers don’t really do anything and are limited to Warzone regardless. Many of the skins are ridiculous but they don’t need to be.
> The radar also misses the little arrows above or beneath a red dot to indicate whether someone is above or beneath you. Previous halos had arrows, it worked great!! Now it is gone, why!?! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!
I’m pretty sure Halo Reach and Halo 4 were the only games to have this.
> - Warzone spawns are often far away from chosen spwan base, causes you to get killed faster. If I choose a spawn base I want to span inside or upon it, so that I am safer
Pretty sure this only happens if the base is being contested.
> - All armor/weapon upgrades available are optainable PURE based on lucky cards or by spending alot of money: so a badass look is not skill based, and this is wrong! It ruins the passion for getting yout favourite item.
Another contentious point, considering many armors in Halo 3 weren’t all that skill based to acquire, while in Halo Reach they were tied to playtime.
> - Warzone is in fact a game of scoped br’s, and if you were not LUCKY in getting a scoped br card, you are in disadvantage against people who did have one. How can this ever be a fair game?
BTB has historically been BR starts, I fail to see your point. It’s also extremely easy to obtain a BR card, I have a ton of different variants of it.
> THE RANK SYSTEM ISN’T ONE THROUGH FIFDEE SO IT AUTOMATICALLY SUCKS.
Just…whatever dude.
Alright, what I DO agree with:
-The REQ system is RNG trash.
-Map variety is lacking.
-Warzone is imbalanced, boss scoring sucks.
-File share and Theater are missing.
-Spartan Charge sucks.

Can you not read? I did not said that quitting happens too often, I said that it still occurs despite the banhammer strikes hard.
And this thread could be useful in many ways. I share my critism about something I paid for in the hope
a next game will be better, for example. And that you do not like it does not mean that it’s useless!

If things were useless or rediculous (emblem customizing, stances, skins, etc) then why are they even in the game? How it was worked fine, I just don’t understand why they had to change so much that did not have to change.
I actually agree with most of these, most of all the first one. Spartan stances are completely pointless, most people aren’t 8 year olds who play with their character like an action figure. It seems like they ran out of ideas and needed more pointless REQs to add in to keep people grinding and buying so they just added stances and assassinations.

By your own logic how can you then say that stances are useless?
For the second half, because there’s nothing really wrong with adding additional cosmetic options? They didn’t have to, but then using that logic they didn’t have to change from Halo Ce only having color customization to Halo 2 having emblems and such either.
> Spartan stances are completely pointless, most people aren’t 8 year olds who play with their character like an action figure
I see you’ve changed your Spartan from its default model and color. Are you perhaps an eight year old who likes to play with his spartan? Unlikely.

Difference in fan base opinions is why things change. You care about emblems, I do not. Same with any cosmetic feature as fps games don’t need colors or stances to me. How often are we going to see ourselves in game? I could also care less how my Spartan looks compared to others.
as for radar, I think halo could completely scrap it as to me it makes the game more challenging.
map voting was scrapped because you’d play the same maps over and over, even removing that hasn’t changed or fixed the issue.
warzone is meant to be a chaotic social mix and mix unbanked game type. You’re going to see a lot of random things going on in there and it’s also fun to those who like to gamble in a sense. The spawns aren’t issues in just warzone, they’re bad in arena too but halo has never had a great spawn system regardless.
you have a good arguement for weapon zooming and how it ruins gameplay? If not then who can’t it be halo? The br could zoom, so could the sniper and rocket in previous games.
book marks work for me but it has been an issue for others.
Ranks in h5 are much better than h reach and h4, it’s an improvement and I’d actually take it over going 1-50. It’s an improvement regardless if you consider the most recent halo games
you have issues with shoulder charge? That ones on you, not the game.
there actually is online co-op, just no couch co-op.
I agree with some of your points and completely disagree with others. Anything CAN be better, but I genuinely enjoy the game even with some of its weaknesses. The truth is a game can never be in it’s best form, despite hours of test time, until it’s released to the public.

I did not say that, the other guy said it!!
Read better!! What is wrong with u people
I read the list, and I think the exact opposite of every single thing in it. Sorry!

He’s talking to both of you dude… Notice whom he quotes and the response below whom he quotes?

I also do enjoy it and agree that a perfect game will never be made. But I think that they just let down on too many things in H5. Certainly if you think about the fact that Halo has such a rich history of games.
My god, it makes me sick to see all these complaints. Be grateful instead of taking seeing the little things and taking it for granted. What a baby.

I do not complain, I just tell were I think they failed in making their product that I payed for. I’m being critical. Ignore it if you can’t take criticism.
Most of these points are nitpicking of the highest degree.

To be fair I should use multi-quote but…man…formatting on this site is just such a pain in the -Yoink-. Buggy too.

No, you’re complaining.
The Halo community is toxic. Nothing but complaining and whining wherever you go. Are you that privileged and spoiled that you think a game designed should have everything that you specifically want, and nothing else? News flash. Different people, want different things in a game. The community needs to realize they were given a good game, one that has done pretty well in bringing Halo 5 somewhat back from the darkness… And if you want Halo to continue being even slightly relevant, the community needs to grow up and stop being so emo. Please, don’t kill Halo… Because that’s what you are doing.

I agree. It’s not that I agree with all of OP’s complaints, but seriously. Where does this ‘be grateful’ mentality even come from? It’s a product… I paid money for it… if I’m not happy with it, I can’t think of a response that makes less sense than be grateful. For what!? Being disappointed in a product that could have been better? Oh, it’s just a whole bunch of little things so it doesn’t count? That doesn’t mean the game can’t be a disappointment in the aspect of “death by a thousand cuts”? People should just overlook a bunch of details that add up to a disappointing experience because they’re not major? I don’t think so.
I’m grateful for the fact that I can afford my console for playing games.
I’m grateful for the fact that I can buy games that I want and enjoy them.
I’m grateful that I had the income to afford this game.
I’ve purchased plenty of other games (not just the Halo titles, but including them) for the same price and those games were twice what this game is. Want me to be grateful for a product I paid for and it didn’t live up? Easy… you pay for my copy.
