So you have 3 options. Buy bronze, silver, or gold membership. Yet only if you buy gold can you play multiplayer WTF! So silver and bronze are just little flashy things that suck up your damn wallet?!

theres no bronze tier. Its gold or silver(free). And they trickle out free games for gold members, if theres 2 okay games you get your money back.
I am quite peeved by that as well, and it is why I no longer play subscription-based MMORPGs (used to play WoW, but now I play Guild Wars 2 which is buy-to-play). I’ve managed to play Halo 5 multiplayer thanks to two free Gold trials - one came with my Xbox One S, the other came with Halo 5 which was bundled with the console. And I know that the time is going to run out soon and I’ll have to pay to play, in order to remain in good standing with my Spartan Company (comprised of good, fun folks, they just require that members are active at least three times a month, I believe). And it’s thanks to subscriptions such as that that have prevented me from playing on my PS4 with my brother, who also has one.
So, yes, I feel your pain.
I feel like my husband and I get our monies worth. We have my xbox one set as his home xbox on his account. So we both get to use just his gold subscription. And whatever games he buys digitally I can play on my account on my xbox and whatever he gets from the free gold games too. So no more paying 120 dollars for us to play a new game. Just the 60 and we both get it and can play on our own xbox. So I like that. So now that they have that it doesn’t seem as bad. Before when we had to have two subscriptions it was much more of a burden. But I rather pay for gold and get to play many games online and get free games every month than pay for a subscription to one game such as WoW. Much better deal.
